I never really got into playing MUGEN. I found MUGEN back in late 2000 or early 2001. Not long after I started going to MUGEN GUILD to get characters and talk about my 100% drawn from scratch full game I was going to make based on my comic characters. And I got mad about the whole permissions thing This was before Guild had a forum. It had more like a shout box. Downloaded a bunch of characters my 1st year. Mostly watched instead of played. Then focused on ways to get sprites to make a Darkstalkers game. Fought in the permissions wars, released sprite packs, got burned out, came back as a lurker.
Remember Guild's temporary forum? It was on some generic "make your own message board" site that was popular in the early 90s.
http://nunor.proboards.com/index.cgiIt's where I first became mod.I remember freaking out because I thought I'd sent N64Mario a PM before work about something mod related. When I got home I saw it was posted in a thread or something and I thought he had made it public...I forget the details, I just remember I messed up but was paranoid that people were outing me or something xDOh the good ol days of being young, on a forum, and newbish. Now I'm just old, on a forum, and a newb Posted: October 24, 2013, 07:34:43 pmWe need to PM Nunor and see if he can open the temp forum back up to read only.

I don't really remember when I started Mugenizing, but I remember I was introduced to it when I was searching for SFA bugs in Youtube. After watching Ryu's infinite air punch thing, I saw this EvE Battle Mugen match with Death Ogre and some other shitty Shotoclone. I assumed it was just another flash game, so I instantly hated it, but then I saw that it was saved on a desktop as a .exe file, the rest is history.Oh yeah, I started making stages like a year ago, I think.Erroratu said, October 24, 2013, 06:48:46 pmmugenin for 2 years, still dont know how to properly install lifebarsShame on you, K' Error.

Started using mugen in 2001, but started forums activity with Guild in 2002 if I recall correctly, so ... 11 years.Nunor was running the snazziest Mugen web ever back then, so I wanted to be a part of that

I guess I was right when I said that there was nothing interesting left to code after that one.
yah, after I amde some "accurate things i wanted to do" I quit mugen too, then came back because original sprites.
