I'd say like 8 almost 9 years. 4 of the years were spent only playing mugen for fun with Tamez. No forum browsing or creating. After a while I joined forums, first forum was Phantom G's, then MFG, then IMT. Been at these places 4 years, almost 5 now.
2 years playing only, then 1 year nothing. 2-3 years creating stuff (although about a year of that was procrastinating)

Ah, i have posted in this thread. It's so old i can update it saying it's 13 years now. Started early 2000, started programming in 2k1.
Since mid-late 2008. Didn't really dive into coding till like...2010. I feel like I wasted far too much time in the aspect of learning code...
Would you prefer to learn spriting then?Your chars are really appreciated in the mugen community, what thing makes you say that?
I may have worded that wrong... I didn't mean I wasted my time or just wasted time in general learning code. What I mean is that I should have been making stuff a long time ago. I wasted too much time to actually start learning code. I should have been creating in like '09. I just kept putting it off though. As for spriting goes... I can't draw at all... I wish I could!
I posted here before, but I guess I can update.Started in January 2010, didn't join the Guild until May 2011, and only started posting regularly on August 2013. I've would've have a bunch of character releases by now had it not been for trying to make full games that failed and whatnot.
Started in 2009, but throughout that year and 2010 I just lurked around every site under the sun. I pretty much downloaded things for it regardless of quality. After I got more into fighting games though, I felt embarrassed by my choices and deleted my Mugen.I joined MFG in 2011 but I still ended up lurking around until 2012, when I decided to get serious with the engine and start practicing/experimenting with code, being more thoughtful about what content I downloaded, etc.
Started in 2001... just playing with a friend who had a Pc, in 2003 he had gone to Japan and get married and I stopped playing mugen (I had no Pc at that time).in 2004, my girlfriend leaved me... I get a Pc to download porn and playing online (World of wracraft ... MMO is great to make you stop thinking about your life). Some time later I discovered Loganir's work and I leeched all chars in MVC style I could find. I discovered Warusaki's work too and I did some CVS game with different screenpack.I don't know when I did my first edit on Archer and released it here... I started a project on Ghodt Rider but had some problems with my eyes and stopped spriting (I were stupid to sprite him all in black on a pink background , should have done it with colors that don't hurt to watch).I did a Tigermask character with and edit of ^o^'s slam master character...And then started to play with Spec OP, and wanted to do a Fullgame on Slam Master based on Red Cyclone by O'ilisionnista. So 12 wasted years. But had great time at reading drama on the forum ... need more drama
I first heard about Mugen in about 2002, have used it on and off since then, taking large "breaks" here and there. Mugen 1.0 definitely rekindled my interest when it was released a couple years ago. My current Mugen Fighters Guild account is 3 years old, I had an account before that, but I couldn't remember it's password after a couple years of not using it. I think that account may have gone as far back as about 2005, if this site existed back then, that is.
Yeah, seems like MUGEN causes that on people. That's my case; I don't code anything since... 2008 I think. I even stopped visiting the Guild, but the good Olg Guild has some kind of charm for me.
