A character that involved ripping all of the sprites took me a couple months.

Several projects that I was spriting have still yet to be finished.



My personal record for making a character is about 1 hour.
(Ripped sprites, coded and everything)

Faster for me was 3 hours for a pretty playable beta. I just swapped blari's sprites for tifa's, changed a few triggers which got me a perfectly working version up to basic attacks, then changed some state numbers and velocity values around for the dir + button as well as the special moves.

Does it count if I took Char A by Kong, sprite swapped it with the SFF from Char B by Kong, and obtained a new char named "Char C", which was a perfectly playable version of Char A with brand new graphics ? 8)

If that counts. I can just take this person's Shana and sprite swap using choiyer's Haruhi's striker Shana.

I'm pretty busy/lazy so it usually takes me about 6 months to make something. Scrooge McDuck is my record, being mostly finished after two days, Takagi being the second fastest (four months).
