Preference. There is no wrong or right amount of characters to have in a roster.

Say if you download a Ken by Hero but then can't bear to remove Vyn's POTS, JMorphman's, GM,s, Lord of the Flies or evn N-Mario's.

If a character plays well I don't remove it. I just search for a bigger screenpack to accomodate it.

If a character makes the transition to Mugen 1.0 but then fails to work I either remove it or start a help topic to fix it. These code fixes I also will use to avoid these issues when I get round to coding my own character.

I often find myself removing a lot of MvC2 style characters made over at Brazilian Mugen sites or CvG simply because the characters are released too early with many sprites missing making them quite unplayable.

But if a character is playable and fun I'll keep it.

This is why I have so many characters.

I don't have a mugen game right now.
But I've got some kind of Database on my HD with the chars sorted by Game in different Folder and each char has an animated gif of his/her stance so I can better identify them. Later on I've planned to sort them spritestyle wise and put them together into different compilations for myself.

Just don't ask me why, but I got in the collecting chars mood the last time

Collecting doesn't exactly mean to keep each char in my case, but some shit is in there aswell.

Right now I got 1726 chars.
