I guess I used to have that character that had River City Ransom sprites, and all he did was masturbate.

I guess you could say it was original. It had innovation.

I still have that. I edited him so he could do an insta-KO.

I have some. Can't remember which ones are actually original other than Rikard's though since I haven't loaded MUGEN with a select screen in a while.

Some of them.  I want more original characters since I love stuff like that but generally they are lacking in the gameplay department.

Oh, and alot of characters I use are also edited based on non-original concepts so...

I only like KOF style characters, so Rikard and Dark Cloud's characters were on the top of that list for me.

Quite a few. Most of Rikard's stuff, Seanalty's. Lots more, but since I can't spell the artist name correctly doesn't matter.

So yeah I have a good range of the roster thats collecting dust on my harddrive. \o/

Of the characters I have the ones not based off of any fighting game (not counting edits or Kula_new) amounts to 18 out of 69 characters. Of those 18, 8 are completely original ideas.

Alternatively, I could add chars such as Zangeese, Zangyura, CVS Yoko, the Kakuge Yaro chars with custom gameplay, Solid Snake, but in a certain way they are not totally original.

I have alot of them and most of them are great to play. I'm kinda fan of orginal characters since it's require skill and imagination to make those. I honestly can't understand why creator such as seanalty are not popular ...

Exactly that's the problem i think, people only want to see ryu, shoot a shinku Hadoken, or Ken spin kick you hundred times till death, and don't forget Akum who jus want's to Shungukusatsu you all day, it's to repeitve, in people making these,chaacter's i lost interest in.

heck i used to love Akuma, i even had his Move on my Dhalsim, but now i hate him, too many of Him,because people need to start diversitising their taste, Akuma,Holy AKuma,God Akuma,Shin Akuma,Master Akuma,Celestial Akuma, who's next? an Akuma called

if you ask me Original Character's aren't matter the extreme, what the real matter's is not having a roster coplete, wth 20 Ryu's, 12 kEN'S, AND 1000 Akuma's, because even character's that are meant to be like thier game origin can be fun. for me aslong as it isn't one of those three.
