I have this friend of a friend, who gets upset easily whenever a "Make me a sandwich" joke, gets directed right at her. Is it really that bad? :???:

Looked through your post history.

It's just you. Stop being excessive with the sexist jokes. Nobody appreciates them out of very specific contexts.

Personally, I never found them funny. Not because it's offensive towards women, but because they're simply not funny. I think the same for the opposite jokes used towards Males.

I have to agree that some people seems to overreact to these kind of things. I found this a lot when we discuss about having teams of males and females in football, mixed together. Some girls tend to jump and simply say that it's pure sexism that this is not allowed, but seriously, the difference of body size and strength of male and female players would make it not really equilibrated, so it's not a really good idea to do that. I even heard girls complain about not doing the same in american football (aka rugby).

  • My surname is not Foster, FYI.
Females tend to be the most popular target for sexism. In countries like Saudi Arabia, they won't allow women to drive and have less rights than men. I lived there ever since I was 2.

Also, take a look at Jack the Ripper. His main targets were women.

So in most cases, the main target is the females, so they are most likely offended.
Good news for all of you.

I'm banned forever.

Please, just let the ban quietly pass and whatever you do, I beg you, DO NOT CHEER. Do not celebrate that you've won about the fact that I'm banned forever. Let it slide, PLEASE DO NOT CHEER. Don't cause me to shitpost again. I didn't even recall making a shitty post before I got perma'd. I hated this forum anyway. It doesn't even feel I'm taking part in a MUGEN forum.

Well, ungoodbye to you all and I hope you all burn in hell.

where is the logic in your post? in saudi arabia, when you tell their women to make sandwiches they will go make you sandwiches,
while in western country they feel offended, but they don't feel offended out of empathy toward their sisters in saudi arabia either.

Jack the Ripper's targets had more to do with them being prostitutes than being female.

Going offtopic:

american football (aka rugby).

Those are not the same sport. There are some differences(in A.Football you can pass the ball forward-with some restrictions- while in rugby is illegal EXCEPT if it's with the foot; Some of the tackles of A.Football can't be done in rugby because of the rules, etc).

But ok, going back on topic, you were talking about women and men can't play in the same match of rugby or american football.

But...

Spoiler, click to toggle visibilty

(Just a joke)
