How to put a picture on your profile?

When I try it just looks like a red X, I don't know if you guys can see it but I just see the X.

You're probably direct linking to an unreliable site rather than saving it and uploading yourself. Try uploading it to Imageshack, tinypic, or Photobucket.

Upload it to a reliable image hosting site and copypasta the url.
