How to slow down Mame for better ripping?

Is there a possiblity to make the game stop and only make one frame go further by pressing the right butten?
I need to know, cause I wanted to rip some Arcade sprites, but only Hitting F12 it doesn't matter how often and fast I hit it , it will always miss some animations.

P is the default to pause the game.

Shift + P, while paused, advances one frame.
