Hay guys.. totally new to mugen and bit noob. lol dont know how to or where to put the name of my characters into the system.def

You dont, wrong def file, its in select.def, open it up and read it up, it will have a part where it says to put the characters there.

ye it just tells me how to put them in there? wtf up wth that haha. my net capped atm so i cant watch walkthroughs on youtube

Open up your select def file.  What you do is you put the name of the character folder in the spaces.  However, the character folder and the name of the DEF files within must match.  If they don't, you can write foldername/defname.def.
