Ok, I decided I go away for a while from Pocket related stuff and make other things.

Why no Shoryuken chaining? That's pretty much the only thing that differentiates his from the others. Also, LOL KAISER WAVE. Can't wait to see what you come up with.

I tested and decided that chaining Shoryuken looks good, I was afraid it will not fit CVSish gameplay style ;)

I want to add SNK's character's moves to him so far its Krauser's and Geese's.

Aw, that's a shame. Could you make a vid or something so I can see what it looks like? That way I'll know more why it doesn't fit CVS style gameplay. I could come up with other SNK char moves if you want. I'll post as I think 'em up.

I meant that triple shoryuken will be made :gugoi:

Im not the making video kind of Mugen creator, also except all basics (standing, walking, jumping etc.), Basic moves, and 2 special moves there is nothing to show.

He's saying he IS going to implement it... Before he was unsure if it would fit in with a CVS-ish style. But after testing it, he's satisfied with the results.

remember that those moves has to have same command as from original character, both those Terry's moves clash with Seth's original moves.

How about Genocide cutter

It would be Genocite Cutter vs Shoryuken, both are uppercuts and both can hit 3 times in a row.
I vote after Shoryuken as I finished that move.

Buster Wolf and Crack Shoot sounds alright ;)

Ok, what about:
Vice - Mayhem with chaining into her Misanthrope and Deicide Slayer.
Yamazaki - Yakiire and Guillotine

Yeah, the two Deicides seem like good moves for him. They involve stretching his arms about, and he can do that. Wouldn't Mayhem clash with the Tanden Engine's command?

Also: Rugal's Dark Barrier? Also, I seriously think Genocide Cutter should be in there.
Maybe he could have Geese's counter moves as well. Would it be possible for him to have semi-invisibility like Magaki?
Also, maybe a teleporting fireball for a super? Also, maybe he could have the Kyokugen users' Zantetsuken that he could juggle after. Maybe he could also have Rugal's Dead End Screamer DM. On second thought, I just had an idea. Maybe you could make two separate DEF files for him. One uses Capcom moves and the other uses SNK moves. That would allow me to have my precious Genocide Cutter and we wouldn't have to worry about moves overlapping as much.

PS: I thought of something for Raising Storm. You could possibly use Urien's taunt animation for that. You know how he punches the ground? He could use that.

Edit: Or you could hold start while selecting him for SNK moves.

Personally, I wouldn't go with extras of the same function. Like Shouryuken/Genocide Cutter. Having 2 AA's is superfluous imo. Perhaps Rugal's wall slam move would be beffiting of Seth. Or Rugal's reflection move. I don't know the names of his moves, sorry. Aside from Reppuken and Genocide Cutter. Don't overload yourself on moves though man. Seth has enough moves as is. I understand that since you're converting him into a CVS format, it is feasible that if he were actually in that game series, he would have some moves from the SNK side as well.

A very innovative idea. Though, there is too much of a good thing. A good amount of moves may not even be used by players due to them being superfluous. You may even find yourself not using moves you yourself implemented. Just a notion you should take into consideration.

It's alright. I have a penchant for typing mini-walls of text that only the thread poster ever bothers to read through. I'm still seriously vouching for an SNK mode or something. It gives much more freedom for what moves he can have (GENOCIDE CUTTER).

There are several Seth's anyway. If he wished he could make one for Capcom, one for SNK, and a unique one with a mix of moves but none from the other 2 Seths.

Ok, forget everything else, Just No Point's got the idea down. A mode with other Capcom moves, a mode with SNK moves, and a third mode with a unique moveset. If he does this, could the third mode be his SF4 moveset?

I already mentioned before there is no point of two moves that work almoast the same (G. Cutter, shoryuken).


Ok, I will make hSethCap.def and hSethSNK.def, so I will have to swap Capcom's characters moves into SNK's:
Sonic Boom - Kaiser Wave
Shoryuken - Genocide Cutter
Dhalsim Heavy punch - ? (long hands)
Yoga Teleport - ?
Spinning Piledriver - Jaeiken
Dive Kick ?
Head Stomp - ?
? - Raising Storm
5 spots left, replaced moves don't have to work same as original.

I'm pretty sure Kaiser Wave is a super. I think Reppuken would work better as a replacement for Sonic Boom.

Dhalsim Heavy Punch replacement: Yamazaki's Snake Arm forward.
Yoga Teleport: Saiki styled teleport.
Dive Kick: Mini Dead End Screamer. (Blockable dive kick that leads to a knockdown)
Head Stomp: Dark Barrier.
Raising Storm: Wouldn't this be an SNK super already?

Raising Storm is an SNK super. Geese uses it. I think he could do well with having Aegis Reflector or something.

Maybe he could be playing recordings of their voices? For example, you could take their voices and then filter it a bit in Audacity or something. Jeez, this is getting awfully ambitious. Also, I'm perfectly willing to beta test this when it gets there. Just lemme know and send it to me when you're ready.

Edit: You could justify the distorted recordings by saying that NESTS stole Bison's plans for these duplicate bodies and haven't given them their own voices yet, therefore they play recordings from the original users of the attacks.

Yeah, he could, but that's entirely up to him. Personally, I wouldn't. It's easy to suggest for someone to implement tons of moves and modes, while it's another thing to be on the recieving end on all those suggestions. I'd just go for a unique blend of Cap/SNK moves, instead of making 3 different modes. That's a lot of work I ain't willing to do lol. But if he wants to, go for it.

I'm so confused at this point... I say make him how YOU want, with the moveset you'll be happy with, and leave it at that. Don't add more work for yourself just cause a couple people think you should. An end MUGEN product you're happy with is what is really important.

Why...? This doesn't make any sense to me... Why do you have to wait for him to complete a char, just to get some FX from it/him...? Seems like a very unreasonable stipulation. You're not asking for the char, just some FX from the char. *shrugs* Well, to each his own. I don't understand, but w/e.

Well since you announced your working on Blue Mary and mentioned the color separation figured I'd post the template for palettes.
everything you wanted separated plus her eyes, the lightest color of her hair and skin  from the belt buckle lightest color and jacket buttons, and her dog so it doesn't share colors with her skin. the effects aren't organized in the Color table as i didn't know if you were gonna use the same effects or not plus i dislike organizing effect colors.

Okay, I was really busy last 2 months and could not make any progress due to no time, but I started 2 days ago again and now:
- Tandem Storm Finished!
- Tanden Typhoon Finished!

Seth will not be accurate, as I can't take much time into mechanics details, but when you think of it its conversion from SF4 to CVS so who cares ;)

All that is left to do is Tandem Stream, teleporting, Tandem Engine, throw and parrying.

It seems so, its fault of his moves, not my work.
Seth can throw projectiles (Sonicboom), has good defensive move (Shoryuken) and his arms extend.
Disadventage of Seth in CVS is that if you use Dodge/Roll and avoid one of his slower attacks (which he has plenty) you can really kick his ass in few succesful attacks.

Haha, sure, I just relized I have not released Pallete template yet :D :D
and I lack of palletes:

This pallete is little not organised (not made by me) so 3 colours are not shown on this image, my advise is to just set their colours same as the most similiar other colour. If you make mistake I can always fix your palletes.

It's from the CVS system (most notable in the C-Groove): Transparent (no color) Afterimage for LVL1, Blue Afterimages for LVL2 and Red AI's for LVL3.

Old PDC chars has it (thought it wont't work on Mugen 1.0), My Goliath and MindLess ones (you just need to revert the animations back at the end) and many others
Its like to modify the scale of the char, nothing too hard to do.

^This. Though it's not just Mikey, all his Turtles have that arcade throw. I'm sure that'd be very helpful to reference for Tandrem Stream where they hit the screen.

I haven't forgotten about you mang. Good to hear you're moving things along with Seth. Looking foward to some Blue Mary progress in the future as well. One thing I wanted to note, just to let you know if you haven't done so already. Be sure to use my KFM's most up to date version for the template. You started these projects some time ago and I've updated KFM since then with some important system updates. It's all been ironed out now. Nothing too heavy, but important enough to where things needed to be fixed. I've noted the updates and all in the code, so, you'll know what's what.

Essentially, yes. Though, there's also been changes to the CMD, because of the way projectiles are handled with my chars. The main aspects with the updates are...

-Adv Guard gone(it was pretty buggy :p)
-Z Counter special/super cancels removed
-hit/juggle count variables tweaked/updated
-targetbinding coding to prevent p2 from sinking below ground level tweaked/updated
-projectiles all have keyctrl=1 now, with the extra coding added to the cmd for them as well

So yeah, it's mainly system.cns/cmd that was the focus of the updates.
