Ok I was bored and when I get bored stuff like this tends to happen.

Don't worry I haven't made any changes to the Sp this is merely Photoshop mock up,
I wanted a simpler look to the Select screen and that way it matched the same concept I have for the rest of the SP.



I'm sketchy about the change because I've made a good amount of ports already and so have other people. so I don't want to be an ass lol
To me I don't mind remaking the 9000,1 ports again because they won't be that hard to do.
What ya'll think about this new select screen?

looks good,dont need to have the stage frame for custom stage fonts IMO,you can use that for some extra slots,besides that its all good

Yeah, instead of having that screen for that Stage select area, it could be filled with more slots.

As for the Select Area's replacement, you could probably integrate an image with faded edges instead?

Believe me my Girl friend, Family & Friends all say the same thing lol

As for the stage select Border it's for the TV animation.
The only thing I don't like about the stage popping up after you select a character in versus mode is that if player 2 chooses first it covers the ports for player 1.
I'll try some stuff out and see what I can do, I do agree more slots is always good.

If you have some ideas Noz let me know.

I don't think that's going to work @Yaret: because those sprites won't close properly it will look odd, pretend they are teeth and the mouth is closing they won't fit into each other if that makes sense haha.
I am still looking for another animation for the VS screen but something after the VS font lands, maybe some strobe light flashing
I don't know, will see. 
Thanks for following the thread I'll try no to disappoint when I release it.

@HUNGRY WOLF: You don't need to cramp everything in there bro. You're doing a fantastic job so far. Too much flash might increase your sff size loads. Go with your instinct. No need to please the whole world. :) ;)

 No I don't want something too flashy or a heavy animation I just want something simple so that the screen is no so static/plain after the font lands if you seen the video you will know what I mean other than the scrolling texts I've added I feel I need something else but something light.

The one you are testing was 59 or 60 MB SFF.
After I re- did the select screen and did a few tweaks here and there the SFF is currently at 54MB

I haven't done much work since I've been sick these past few days I didn't even go to work to today because of that.
but I do have some progress ;D

I removed the tv monitor to give you guys more sluts slots
still has custom stage font, I figured out a way so it doesn't appear after a player selects in versus mode will explain later.

Versus screen:

still missing another light animation for the versus screen (that shit is killing me)

Victory screen:





I remade the gate opening sequence I feels it looks better this way or should I make it cover the whole screen then it reveals everything else?
Just so you guys don't think its a huge animation its done by 2 sprites and animated via code.
So no lag, your Boy Wolf is learning  :book2: lol
