I see what he's talking about with the flare, it....lingers too long and then fades out too quickly frame lingering so long. I think you tried to be too realistic with the light even though there isnt enough light to go about it realistically (i hope you get what i mean by this)

All I hear is nitpicking :P

Ah I see what you mean, ill mess with the  code and see if I can make it look smoother.

Started working on the GAME OVER SCREEN:


Not final just messing with Colors, BG's, & Fonts to get some ideas.
going to add some scrooling texts saying I'll know you'll be back (CVS2) and other quotes that may come to mind.
most likely going to animate the fonts and make then go from left (game) and right (over) and make them meet up like in the image above at a fast pace.
I will be looking at other games and looking at their Game Over screens to get some ideas for the animations of the fonts and see if I see something better I can implement.

Any ideas on the color of the fonts/BG or animation ideas please keep them to yourself feel free to mention them :D

The colors are kinda weird IMO.

Every time I come to this thread, I see solid updates. Keep up the good work mate!

Hum, the concept is good. It needs maybe more brightness or something, I like how you put the steel texture in the text.

maybe its the scan lines I have over it that makes it look too dark.

what about the font exactly Gen, the color the style of the font or all in general?

I also like the BG but the color kinda doesn't appeal to me now.

I like the idea Big Boss, maybe I'll try another BG that will look a lot better with the Embers because I feel like the image I posted won't fit them.
Speaking of Voice announcers I need to start looking for a cool announcer I was going to get a Microphone and attempt to try it myself but if I suck then I may have to look for one.

Here are some screenshots of the Game Over screen I didn't have time to make a video today, I finished adding all the sprites and coded everything I'm just missing a Game Over Voice and a cool song to go with it.

i guess the game over color is negative because is the game over am i right ? because the color are different at the rest the game, u are using the same technique i mean the design but color are different but i like it :) i think that im to obvious :P keep it up my friend :)

@Yaret: Yes you need to see it in motion, I't looks very nice.
Besides I don't want to go all crazy and make the Game over screen lag.

Yeah, I wanted to go with a darker look for the Game Over screen with a new BG. but with the same elements from the rest of the SP.

I also cleaned up the Templates so It should be very simple to make the ports if you have skills lol jk nah it will be much simpler this time around.

Right now I'm working on Vice, for example, and I made a Leona yesterday.
But I didn't tested her, so I didn't released her. :)
+ I'm making my file for the intros, so it takes forever for each set!!

Hey, Hungry Wolf; Do you have something new about the lifebar, or do you plan to make them for another update? :)
