It started in here.

I had finish Sonic, Tyris, Axel, and Link in 2008. I was also trying to look into some more smash characters, but a whole lot have done some Mega Man X sprites already. So, now I had to fix some of them from the sprites.

Link was from scratch. I posted these two in a Super Smash Bros Final something thread in here. Well, I am planning to do a few more into CvS style like Gowcaizer, Kirby, Raven, Larcen, Xavier, and Midknight (Eternal Champions in red), Ike (Fire Emblem), that monkey magic girl from Voltage Fighter Gowcaizer (well, I do have Gowcaizer), Soma Cruz, Julius Belmont, and six more to go.

Meanwhile,

These are the old 4 I was talking about, starting with Tyris and Sonic.

This was my old sprite of Sonic. I had to at first do it by scratch, but I decided to draw everything over that scanned cutout I did.

While spriting him, I was comparing his size to Mega Man

Both of these were use in the InfinityMugenTeam site. My user name is Magnetman in there. I held a contest with that sort of sprites I made. However, I last person won was Catwoman and I sprited her and posted her there and ScruffyDragon. Well, I didn't do any WIPs with her because real life fucked me up a bit (this is why I have a rotten attitude in here).

This is a finish Sonic and my earliest attemped at Tyris.



And this is Sonic finished and also another comparing the GBA one I used as a base and idea.

This is a final because I fixed a few points of shading and I am still working on that til this day.



Now Tyris came out bad because she wasn't like her sprite, so I figured of doing this instead.

By the way of This was an outline when I resized her Golden Axe (1989) arcade sprite. She came out better than my last one, but I am not finish with her yet.

You noticed how I fixed her leg. I am also doing more work with her, I found some stuff I need to fix, plus her hand as well. I am working on her and stuff continue to do so.

Then Link and Axel.

Link was constructed originally and no sprite edits used. I just need to fix his sword. Here was a preview that I posted in Infinity Mugen Team boards and here is a final and still needs a whole lot of work.

The sword was drawn in later and we have

Biggest thing I need to do is his sword. I still need to work on his sword. I am going to finish up on that part as well as his shield. I plan on spriting Kirby next, so he will not be alone.

This was Axel, what I originally did in 2008. I fucked him up royaly. So I redid him and here is a compare of the old one and new one,

There is alot to be worked on, like the pants shading and the left hand (in perspective), as well as some other stuff. Well, I have a few more before I head out,

Shadow


What needs to be done with her is some pixel fixes, and a couple of stuff done.

Edit: Her hand needs to be done as well as shadin the boots, then afterwards, I am going to continue to fix her as I work on Kirby.

R.A.X


This fucking dude is hard to do. I need a whole lot done with him to finish him.

Electra


Leg needs alot of work. Finishing the hands. Some parts of the shading needs some work. About five or six things needing to be done with her.

Cool stuff. You drew too many quills on sonic - he only has one pair of quills on his back - and the ones on is head aren't long or large enough, not for his post-Saturn look anyway. I see you draw from scratch. Quite good, quite good. NiceCody. Link's shading looks kind of Cooper-ish. Interesting version: kinda Twilight Princess meets Wind Waker. Great Elektra, though her left leg is longer at the bottom than her right and I feel the feet could be longer at the toes.

No no, that's Axel from SOR 3.

Yeah, I noticed that with Electra. Note that she is not finish yet.

Yeah, too many quills on Sonic. I need to make it longer on the head part. That's why I am still working on him.

Link. I need to definely shade the fuck out of him. I have to use MB Yung (CFE Sprite) as a base of how to shade with only three shades of colors. Other than that, I am going to work some more on him.

Oh, what's wrong with me. It even said SOR3. Well, somebody should tell him he looks a lot like Cody.With a headband. Yeah, I figured they were still in progress looking at the hands and stuff, so I guess I should've mentioned that. Still though, it's coming along nicely, I must say.

Yeah, Sega was going for a Cody like character. So, they made Axel. After SOR1 and SOR2, Sega drove away from the Cody likeness of Axel.

If you all noticed, I redid Link's shading and did some work on Sonic's quills. I made him more post-Genesis/Saturn era and into his Dreamcast/2001-current era.

Now for Axel, which I believe I didn't do his hand right. What I hate the most is hands, that's why I am trying to do this.



I am also continue to work on Tyris and then the EC/SOR3 characters as well.

My next sprites I will do are,

The part of the sword? That's what it is. It's the sword. I could change the color of the edge of the sword. It's just like what I did with Tyris.

Nice sprites. The shading on Link's boots looks a bit flat, though.

Yeah, I was working on Sonic and Link some more as we speak. I finished five.

Now for the other three that I did and then Astro Boy, Soma Cruz,  and Mega Man (reshading). Maybe about seven more.
