.....yesh, two days ago I got arrested for fighting at the bus stop downtown (I felt like typing this story to vent. If you don't wanna read all of it, then leave now). I was making my way downtown from one bus, waiting for another to pick me up and take me to my anger management meeting ( ). So, I'm already walking down the sidewalk to sit down and there's this belligerent-ass black dude who reaks of Old Granddad blocking the opening with his back turned against me (note that he's already starting shit with other people waiting for the bus). As I get towards him I say 'excuse me' so I can get thru...he doesn't listen. I say it three times and gradually force myself beside him. He turns around and yells "you coulda said excuse me ya yellow-ass muthafucka!" ......knowing that I need to go to an anger mgmt meeting I let it slide and tell him I did say it. Once I sit down he turns around and looks out the bus stop booth for a moment, then turns back to me and says "just because your tall boy don't mean I won't whip yo' light-skinned ass." I try to ignore him because I know where this is going...he gets pissed that I'm not getting in his face about it so he starts getting louder and more belligerent. Everybody at the bus stop is watching and....to make a long story short, I had put up enough with his insults and slurs. I get up and yell at him "look man, I don't know what you're problem is but you need to go one somewhere before I knock your ass out. Just because you're drunk doesn't mean I won't do.." Before I could finish what I said this asshole grabs me and pushes me towards the ground.I get up, yell "muthafucka!" and pushed him against the booth inside the bus stop. So me and him are seeing who can restrain who, while at the same time a squad car drives down the street (who obviously sees what's going on). "Get yo' drunk ass outta here man!" I yell as I push him out. He falls down on the sidewalk as the cop gets out of the car. The cop does his cop shit, telling me to "hold it!" as he tries to make his way across the street. At that moment this bum-ass drunk gets up and lands a direct punch on my jaw and grabs me. We wrestle, he lands a few more beaut's in my chest. I'm gettin' my ass whipped for a few seconds then I flip him on his back and start wailing away in his ribs. As I was about to chrisen his jaw with a punch the cop finally bobs-and-weaves out of traffic and pulls me off him, then tackles and pin me to the floor (how many more tackles am I gonna get?). Me and the bum gets handcuffed and taken to the station three blocks away. They arrest me for dis-ordely conduct and disburing the peace (the people inside the bus stop witnessed all of it and didn't help the bum off me, but they were more than willing to side with me when the cop came....WTF). The cop told me that he knows I wasn't in the wrong. Apparently this drunk has been causing issues with other folks downtown, except that it never got to the point where it got with me. None of that didn't matter, since I told him the truth about me accepting the bum's challenge at fighting so....yeah. I was held in a cell by myself for a few hours (completely missing my anger mgmt meeting), while they had a family member come down. The only way I were to be released was in a relative's custody. Yeah...all of this is just WTF-type shit. At least I didn't have any official charges on me.POST EDIT: had some typos in here
OH TEH CC IRONY - Awesome story you've got there.Don't take me wrong, but how old are you? And how did you end up having to go to Anger Mangement Sessions?

And how did you end up having to go to Anger Mangement Sessions?I'm 24. I'm in anger mgmt meetings for a lot of personal things (being blackballed from a job that cost me my girlfriend and my apartment comes to mind), but mainly having horrible short-term memory and dyslexia issues (which may explain why some of my posts are ) and not being able to handle it right.
I personally know how it is to get shit thrown at you.I got into an accident, got a ticket from the accident, had to rent a rental car, went through insurance bullshit (they were not exactly nice), got the rental car towed because I didn't get a parking decal, had to pay money to get the car back, took cab rides to the car rental place and to the towing company, I need to send in yet some more paperwork to get the car fixed, and since the insurance doesn't cover 100% of everything there is a good chance I will have to pay for whatever is left. This all happened in less than two weeks and right now I am still waiting for the car to get fixed. The thing is that shit will always come at you wether you expect it or not. What is impoartant is HOW you deal with these problems.Luckly I can deal with all of this shit but to get it done and over my head I'll need time.I wish you the best shaun. Just know that I understand how you feel when you are pulled into doing shit you'd rather aviod.
Yeah well...I'm gonna have an exciting day next week when I go to the meeting and explain to them what happened.
Read your story, Shaun#-san, and, I don't know if this is appropriate........You should have rocked his life with a massive Shin Ryuu Ken. Get him with a crouch+LK, then show him the sky with an electrifying LV.3 Shin Shoryuu Ken.He would have never came back......How far were you going (in minutes)? If it's more than five, I can understand you engaging 'Angry-Mode' to annihilate him...That's my view on your situation.
That story made me hot!Anyways, I never got into a fight before, so I dunno, I hope you're all better now!! I never understood why people think Anger Management works(call me weird, but someone telling me I'm angry when I'm not, is hecka enfuriating)

Never ever, take your eyes off the person you're fighting if someone on the outside, isn't an immediate threat. NEVER!!! And double that if this man was drunk. Also, while on the floor/ground, going for the ribs first, if you want to end the fight quickly, isn't the best way to go... 'Face First then body is how I go'. If they have both their hands together and are trying to block their face, they're just asking for a parade (either grab both their hands with your weak one opushing their's off to side and wail on their head quickly; or poke through, with your head just out of their range).Usually though, I just end it by grabbing both their arms and forcing my torso weight against their arms and head (pinning the two together) and at least getting them to say they submit. No one has ever attacked me after that though ... I always wonder why?_?#Shaun said, December 13, 2007, 03:50:16 pm(the people inside the bus stop witnessed all of it and didn't help the bum off me, but they were more than willing to side with me when the cop came....WTF).That's natural. I've noticed that tons of times. I don't know, but people seem more than content with watching than to doing anything. I guess they usually think that in the end, everything will come to a "no big deal."In all I felt poor for both of you. If that man was a bum, then I would have never yelled him, no matter what he did. I feel terrible for you because you were the one trying to handle the situation appropriately in the first place.
TempesT said, December 13, 2007, 08:50:30 pmAnyways, I never got into a fight beforeyou are lucky, its never fun to get into a fight after someone starts bullying you(or doing something else), especially when people call you weak.
real talk. i know what that feels like you probably didn't want to fight back alot because of consequences and such like that or how he could get you back.( maybe im not sure thats how it used to be) but from your story you did the right thing. you know you can't trust civilians to help you from these kind of things with them being scared and the cops saying he was around there alot too. honestly you shouldnt have done anything i know you could destroy him in a fight but you said you have anger management. honestly this shit happens all the time and if he was some regualr nigga you shouldnt have done anything bitch ass niggas always come back trust me. next time just agree with whatever he says( for example- if he says "yo nigga you aint shit ill fuck you up". you would shake your head and be like" yea your better than me you could fuck me up") they stop because they see you as pusyy and thats about it. you have madlib in your av just remember some jaylib beats to calm you downp.s. you said you were taller than him. free win right there

that sucks - btw that's why I don't like going to bars alot dumb drunks that just wanna take their anger out on anyone that looks at them wrong - come to think of it the only time I got in trouble with the rcmp was when I was driving around on my moped with no helmet, the dude was like on pms or something cause he sure was an ass about it, picture this a 6 foot 250 pound guy riding on a moped that at max speed can only go 50 km/h, I looked like one of those damned toys that you would push the head down and watch it go ya know?

no thats not gonna always work. people pick on you more if you dont speak up and voice your opinion. not by how strong you are. if you never speak up you are always gonna be called weak.
thats not really what i'm talking about. i'm just saying that when they think you are weak they pick on you more. if you speak up, you wont be called weak, but thats not gonna stop that person from picking on you.

If you keep going, they eventually get tired and stop (as is my experience). They don't view you as a pussy though; it's more like they view you as someone they can't get to.Acting gay gets them off your case a lot of the time too (never tried that on a drunk guy though), but that can have repercussions because they might easily get offended and all hell can break loose. All in all, making it clear that you can kick their ass, by brushing off whatever they say with a smile and a "whatever" (whatever being either agreeing with or disregarding what they say), but not going through physical action, is probably the best advice for avoiding these types of situations (at least for me). slickrickrulz said, December 14, 2007, 02:50:17 amDarkGaruda said, December 14, 2007, 02:41:43 amTempesT said, December 14, 2007, 01:29:28 amDarkGaruda said, December 14, 2007, 12:53:52 amTempesT said, December 13, 2007, 08:50:30 pmAnyways, I never got into a fight beforeyou are lucky, its never fun to get into a fight after someone starts bullying you(or doing something else), especially when people call you weak.I dont really mind being called weak. Someone gets in someone else's face; it becomes body to body with yelling; someone pushes someone; all of a sudden hands are flailing.Think about it; Have you ever seen a situation where someone is being yelled at by a peer, talks back, and then the situation ends ??? I would be shocked if that comes out to be a yes.
