Then you add the name of the characters in the select.def

Huh ? Yes you can (even though I have no idea what you want to do ...).

I'm going to make Mortal Kombat vs. BlazBlue. Mortal Kombat vs. BlazBlue anyone? I mean that it will have 36 playable characters. I know that I feel that it would be the same. Imagine the one and only Scorpion vs. Ragna the Bloodedge, Sub Zero vs. Jin Kisaragi, Kitana vs. Litchi Faye-Ling, Jade vs. Platinum, or Quan Chi vs. Hazama. Well there would be 14 stages. But no Babalities, it would be considered fun.

To add character, follow this example

CharacterName

SubZero
Goku
Barney
Monesvol

Add those lines in the select.def file with notepad, or any text editor.

I've heard doing it with anything other than notepad can screw it up.

So by "creating", you actually mean you're going to download random characters on the internet and put them into a single Mugen, and call it your creation ? Please don't do that, that's called a compilation in which you actually put no effort.

Or do you mean you're going to create all the stuff by yourself ? Good luck with that, as you couldn't even add characters to a roster ...

And seriously, MK VS BB ? Completely different sprite styles and sprite resolution, completely different gameplay (did you at least play one of these games ?). Might as well create Pokemon VS Resident Evil, it would make more sense.

Mortal Kombat vs. BlazBlue is my agenda and it will have a single player Story Mode where we can robust and choose which side to unravel the story of. The Mortal Kombat side had Fatalities while the BlazBlue side had Astralities. Yes, I played both Mortal Kombat and BlazBlue. So it will have 3 vs. 3 battles.
