Hi, I'm almost done with finishing Ghost Rider sprites and since I'm stuck for a bit with with spidey, not to mention Quickfist personal situation it seems I have some free time for a side project or two.


CURRENT PROJECTS:
ELENA FOR LOST_AVENGER
SPIDERMAN FOR QUICKFIST

So heres the idea, I could CS some chars for you if you'reinerested in coding pots style, the catch is since it will be free submission I must like the character, beloe you will find a list of possible chars I could work on. If anybody is interested justpost or PM me and we'll work something out. Here goes:

ARCANA HEARTS: Clarice, Fiona, Yoriko, Nazuna, Parace, Petra

Tia. I already have a SFF compiled for her mostly. A few things I gotta tweak, but it's 95% complete. Was going to be private...but if you CS her, it could persuade me to release her publicly. You could probably speak with SageHarpuia about CSing Iroha. As he had a template for her and everything, could lighten the work load between the two of you. Very nice job on Ghost Rider btw. I know his template was all over the place. I'm sure it took you awhile to clean everything up.

From the first glance the separation can be pretty complex, if I reshade her blancelets so it would fit body shading we could have pretty awsome pallets allowing her to wear pants both full and half lenth. I'll have to do a test sprite later on, to be sure.

This is my first quick look at Elena, from what I see, the bracelets will be problematic, I don't really understand the shading on them, plus the colors are somewhat random, namely many single appearing colors all over the place, still this is my first look at sf3 sprites so maybe it was like that originally. This will require a lot of work but heck why not, good potsish elena is needed, however since tia is somewhat closer to my heart and has less sprites i would like to start from here. I've sent you pm DW. Elena will be next.

i finish the doing the two sprites, now the color count is 199 and it looks like this:

Plenty of things are separated, still it would be nice if someone could "test" it applying some simple palettes, i know it does not have a proper template, but it's a bit late here to do it before sleep, anyway as I said elena in theory can wear short and long lenght pants, the same apply to the top. Could you plese mess around with that so I could see if all this have any sense whatsoever?

The idea is pretty nice thought. Color separated sprites are always excellent.

As i said, tia will be first, and since i have possibly two takers for elena she will be next, still as im waiting for tia sprites ill give her a slow head start. She is pretty complicated colorwise so i assume its gonna be a slow and painfull process, just like gr was, or even worse ;p

Also if you are thinking about using g.rider for bor you will have some trouble, as the flames are ment to be used as semitransparent helpers. Now theyre separate sprites.

I recommend use the Marancv's Ibuki for the color separation of Ibuki.

Actually...I'm gonna cancel the Tia thing. I may have someone else in mind later though. If you would still like to separate her anyway though, let me know, and I'll still give you my SFF when it's done.

Great news, I'll publish the sff soon so you and quickfist could do your version, my new work slowed me down a bit, as I have all the sprites ready, I just need to apply the palette and compliance sff, you will love the new sff as I added the missing flame for each sprite with correct axis for easier coding.

Maybe in some distant future, Elena is going really slow plus I have two other projects to finish. :( So this is my priorities for now.

Hi, i'm about done with Elena, could somebody please take a look and see whether she is going in the right direction? I havent got a proper template though, just a large pack of processed sprites, for me it would be easier to fix things quicker in the future updates.

Sprites will be released shortly, last few days were focused on wedding and all the stuff connected to it, now a two day honeymoon and I'll be back into action.

Zero de artemis did a reshade and I think Buckus did something afterwards with color reduction? Iirc. He usually responds to pms.

Ibuki got reshaded or color reduced by marancav(sp?) A few years back too. Her hair might have been separate though

I have the set and tried myself. Unless there's a MUGEN character with those sprites with the hair included, It's gonna be a major pain in the ass to attach AND separate.

I have the makoto, ibuki, and alex he did semi-cvs style.. What did you mean his ex? His ex moves from sf3? If so yeah I'll use any of the same properties he has. I've just been wanting a grappler-esc character in the style and he is my favorite. I'm currently only interested in doing characters whom have been cs'd. So if you do do them and no one touches it I will for sure.

You know I really really want to ask you to make an updated Karin... lol I swear I have been thinking about it.. I like yours and pots I wish I could have a combination of the two. I'm not sure if you know infinite made a Karin and she had this dark mode akin to Sakura. I want to do that someday... She deserves it..  We could team up in the future and make it a reality lol excuse the derail. She also needs a cs *cough*

Hi guys, Elena is mostly ready so I'm about o start on a new project, so who's interested and available for coding? Frankly speaking I would be really interested in separating something different than SF3 characers, Leona perhaps? Also, Symbiote Spiderman 2in1 is for the taking... since quickfist retired almost ready spritesheet was put on hold, if anybody is interested in taking this project please let me know!

I waited a long time for this, just got my new laptop which is capable of running 1.1 with full benefits so i can work again on my past projects, select screen is almost done when it comes to pickinf icons :)

You might want to take a look at my edit of KoldSkool's Spiderman. I separated several things in the sprites and might be useful for you (You'd just have to worry about the symbiote symbol).
