I wanna do one thing and I can't seem to find it.

I wanna make a character talk before a battle.  Not like voice talk, but a text comes out and they stay something to each other before the fight begins.

Make a picture of the text. Save it in the .sff file as you would any other sprite and display it as an explod during the intro.
