[IDEA] MATOI RYUKO - KILL LA KILL

Basically some ideas for anyone who wants to creating her for MUGEN.

The basic ideas:

- Gameplay
- Spriting
- Specials and Hypers

Advanced ideas[For attacking animations, basis, etcetera]:

- Stand, Crouch and Jump moves.
- Throw
- Dashes
- Back Dashes
- Counter Attacks
- Taunts
- Special Moves

So, let's start!

BASIC IDEAS

- Gameplay:

Because of her destructive power on anime, Matoi deserves a VS Styled gameplay. Especially because of her sword attacks and Hyper Combos.

- Spriting:

If she is really comes to MUGENverse, are two ideas for spriting her.

I - Spriting her using Sakura and Karin as basis. And using some sword slashes from Strider Hiryu, with also the slash fx.

II - Z2 style, from scratch.

SUB-POINT: Matoi Stands, normal hits and every move, except the Hypers, will not use the Kamui Senketsu. She will use the normal Senketsu "Sailor Uniform" as base form. This will be explained later.

SPECIAL MOVES!:

- Katatachi Basami[D,DF,F+P]: A slash using projectiles. Can be used on air[Based on Strider's charge slash attack]. The HP can hit 2 times.

- Zutsuki Kōgeki: During dashes, press "->+HP". She will use a headbutt, like she did on episode 24 of KLK against Ragyõ.

- Ikatteiru Ken[F,D,DF + P]: Similar to Makoto's Seichosen Godanzuki, she will use a uppercut move who launches the enemy to air. The pressed Punch will determine the enemy recover time on air.

- Somersault Slash[AIR ONLY][D,DB,B+Kick]: Similar to Nash's reverse air Somersault Kick, but using the Scissor Blades instead of Kickes.

HYPER COMBOS!:

- JIN'I ITTAI! KAMUI! SENKETSU!!:
[D,DF,F+2PUNCHES]
Ryuko will transforms on her famous form using the Senketsu full potential. She will dashes on screen, if she misses, she will turns to normal state, but if succeful, she will starts a combo of Slashes and finishes the oponent with a gigantic slash.

- SENKETSU SHIPPUU!:
[D,DB,B+2PUNCHES]
Can be used on Air. It's a "Juggernault's rampage hyper based". Like a "rocket" attack XD

- Senketsu Tatsumaki-Zan!
[D,DB,B+2Kickes]
She will create a tornado with her Scissor blades. Very powerful and deadly. [The giant Jin Saotome's "Saotome Tornado" will be very useful on this]

- DON'T LOSE YOUR WAY!
[LP, LP, Forward, LK, HP - LEVEL 3]
Ryuko will transforms himself to "Senketsu Kisaragi" and will attack with the Scissor Blades Final Mode[The final form of her Scissor Blades]. If you press "Punches" during her charge pose, she will use a Fatal Blow with a "X" light. If you press "Kickes", she will create a energy pillar continuous attack, like Magneto's "Magnetic Shockwave". If you don't press any button, Ryuko will use the Fatal Blow. Both moves, if succeful, takes 50/60% from enemy Handicap.

For now this is the basic ones. Later I will update this thread with the advanced and new ideas

That would be a Bad Idea since Ryuuko is shorter then Karin and Sakura.
And Ryuuko Z2? I think CvS will do as far as Spriting goes. Tatsumaki Zan should be replaced with Senketsu Senjin.
You also forgot Junketsu, being only selectable by PalNo. (Select Screen aka Enter+ABCXYZ). Have Senketsu on at all times til defeated.

Agreed about the spriting using Sakura and Karin. Really will be strange, since Ryuko are a shorter character.

Ok guys. I'm getting serious. I will learn about spriting. I really want to bring to life her[Ryuko] and Carrie, who I wanted to make some time ago.

But I'm afraid about one thing.

I like to drawing, but I want to learn more about spritings[In the CPS2-SFA style]. The question is:

Best way to spriting in CPS2 style?
