Could get Muteki to stop coding everyone's A.I.

Or if I could get people to stop letting Muteki code everyone's A.I.

I would gladly do it, because Muteki's A.I.'s are full of bullshit.

Could always ask in the MUGEN help section on how to deactivate A.I.. I also thought he had a way too change the difficulty of the A.I. in the CNS.

Well I would do that, but this guy's not Don Drago... his A.I.'s not "human" at all.

There's no way that "reducing" the "difficulty" of Muteki's A.I. (if that's even possible)
will take care of all the countless glitches that can be found in them.

You can change the difficulty of Muteki's AI.
Just look for the AI file (a CNS file most probably). Inside, look for the AI activation, which you'll find easily because it's a big block with a lot of triggers containing commands, such as:
[mcode]
trigger1 = command="AI1"
trigger2 = command="AI2"
etc.
[/mcode]
At the end of this block, you'll find a variable : var(59) = 5  (or something like that), with some comments beside it.
Set var(59) to 1 if you want very easy difficulty, and up to 11 if you want it humanly impossible.

Yeah, I was almost certain he had triggers in the CNS file to change about the difficulty. Although some of the earlier ones before alot of the updates I assume had random peeks of crazy comboing A.I.(might of been his Jam).

nope cause im just too good :smug:
You'd probably have to be. There's little chance that any normal character could compete fairly against muteki's characters.

Of course, this is just Slayer. Maybe he's supposed to have good basics, I dunno (I've only just recently started playing Guilty Gear). Looking at Sol's CLSNs, it's like it's an entirely different author since there's so many of them but that's beside the point: It's kind of tough to counter even some of the weaker attacks from time to time.

But being able to counter doesn't matter when you get caught in one of the longer combos, though, and you can't burst out like a Guilty Gear character could. Plus, GG has good air game, CvS2 characters disable air-blocking in some grooves, and KoF hasn't had air blocking since '98.

I was going to say the same... seems like al of you have never played GGxx... don't you?

also, SOL... that's the "Iori" of GGxx

and with "Iori" I mean, the one with big priorities, best velocity, huge range, best moves, etc etc (not balanced one in less words)

Except the hitboxes in Muteki's Slayer have more priority than his Sol. Hell, they look like they were made by a completely different person because Sol's are more complex than Slayer's, and I'm quite sure this isn't right at all.

Eddie?

C'mon... there's one Eddie player for every 100 Sol players at least  o_O
(like the same in KOF, there's one Benimaru player for evey 100 Iori players)

slayer doesn't run, doesn't have fireballs, so maybe it's because that, probably same goes for Potemkin...
if they are accurate (that I believe they are kinda 90% because I can do mostly all the combos except for a few with Chipp) that's the way Sol-Slayer works

The CLSNs aren't going to have this much variation in a single game, or even over a span of games in the same series. And once again, you said that Sol should have higher priority, so why the fuck does Slayer clearly have the hitboxes that will win out more often?

Come back either when you have actual hitbox data to support your point, or find out by simply figuring out which moves of Slayer's and Sol's should beat each other out in the source game and compare them to the way muteki's work, and admit you were wrong if you find Slayer's win most of the time in the source game.

well, crearly you haven't played GGxx... I was talking about "general priorities"

I don't have GGxx game to prove my point or to compare the chars, I play it in arcade, but I got a PSP and I will check it as soon I get to my town...
but I'm sure as a GGXX player that they feel and move accurate... all the records on the arcade were made by my brother and me, also we were the only ones with 56 and 45 wins in a road... so I know about the game...

don't be like a mugenchina guy that just because I didn't know the cancel was named "blue roman cancel" believe I sucked... he was a "pro" and my rank was like 6 times better than the one made by him xD

No, I haven't played MUCH of GGXX. I can't play as well as you probably, but I don't give a crap because the fact of the matter is, this is basic fucking fighting game mechanics we're talking about here. In a fighting game community, this is common fucking sense.

"General priorities"? What the fuck does that mean? Take a LOOK at muteki's fucking Slayer and Sol with the CLSN enabled and tell me whose moves are more likely to fucking win out. (THE ANSWER IS SLAYER)

Again, if Sol's SHOULD have more priority, LIKE YOU SAID, then muteki's are NOT correct, and YOU'RE WRONG.

You LOSE in either scenario. Comprende?

EDIT: After some testing, there's some fair trading out with either side and it depends who's quicker/slower... Still, look at the hitboxes on muteki's Slayer and compare them to Sol's. They really are better, and while Slayer's may work well together with Sol's, it's too good in terms of other characters. The only crazy hit range I see on Sol's standing basics is the one mapped to MUGEN's B. Crouching, I'll give them credit for that, those definitely do have good priority. But the majority of his stand have a nice little blue CLSN2 in the midst of all that red mess. You rarely ever see that in Slayer. They're too good for other characters to really compete against. How is a KoF character supposed to compete with priorities like THAT? Guess the only way is to somehow try to avoid the hitbox, but some, like B, and to an extent, C (this is all going by MUGEN mapping), are right the fuck out there and hard to avoid.
