I'm wanting to do a Mugen project but..

I'm brand new to Mugen, so I'm not sure if I should start out doing projects. I'm completely clueless as to where to begin, what guide to refer to. I see all these people on here working really hard on their projects/characters and here I am just playing Mugen games. I'd love to get into character designing/Mugen game making. I'm not asking for someone to go out of their way to help me, but can someone maybe point me in the right direction?

Also, I wasn't sure where to post this so I put it here.

Scrumpeh, welcome to MFG! I would say start with YouTube because there are tutorials and different approaches to just about anything you need to know!

Hey.

Here is also the official documentation written by Elecbyte: http://elecbyte.com/mugendocs/mugen.html#documentation. Use it for reference and learning. The YouTube videos will help too, but if you're confused about what something does, the docs are the place to go. In addition, we also have various tutorials written by users here. Some might be a little too advanced for a beginner, but there is a lot for them too: http://mugenguild.com/forum/tips-tricks-tutorials.343.

In terms of actual development the tool you want is Fighter Factory 3. That you can find here: http://mugenguild.com/forum/topics/fighter-factory-3-0-final-release-preview-v2-137126.0.html.

That's pretty much it. Feel free to post any help questions in the Dev Help thread and good luck! Welcome to the forums.
