Increase character's difficulty

Does anyone know how to increase a character's difficulty? I increase the difficulty of the game on the Marvel vs Capcom screenpack, but I want to know how to increase a character's difficulty. Some fighters, like the Dbz fighters, most of the time just stand there and power up while I walk up to them and punch them in the face and they still power up. They are supposed to be the strongest and most powerful characters in the game, but they are so easy to beat that I find it boring. The only one that is hard to beat is Broli, that guy is crazy. Do I have to go to the character's .def file and change something there?

Some creators offer the possibility to chose between different ai-files, also you can adjust their attacke and life values for minor changes (in the .cns file). Beside that there is no way without intensive coding, sadly.

In cell.cns there should be a value called "attack = xy" (normally 100) more is more damage, same with life.

I searched for the attack=x and y but didnt find it, i did find life, attack, defence, power= etc..., defence just means that when they hit(if they ever do because they are very slow) that my energy will go down a lot more than usual, causing the fight to be shorter, life=1100 changed it to 3000, haven't seen any difference really, attack i believe, means that if i hit them that less life will be taken than usual,  IS there any way to make them fight faster?

I searched for the attack=x and y but didnt find it, i did find attack,

Thats what i meant. Like i said in the first post, with these you can only adjust the damage done and taken, but sadly it doesn't influence the chars behaviour.
