True, Basara, but I like to get the obvious ones out of the way to make way for others. It's like a new Street Fighter game is coming out and they come out with a trailer for Ryu and Chun-Li. No one really is hyped for it because it's kind of a "no shit" kind of deal. There's also the matter of what the magic number is for representatives and roster predictions (Unless there's a lupinko for this game already.), having the necessities out of the way make it funner.

Unless it's a brand new system and visual and the Ryu and Chun-Li are here to set the bar and show you the general feel of the game. The rest of the cast is just built on that. Here, you see the system of Batman kicking Grundy through a building, Grundy smashing Wonder Woman into the ground, Superman punching Flash into orbit... You know what it'll be like during the fight, the obvious Lex and Joker and others will just be woven around that.
As for the cast, for starter there's the obvious returners from MKvsDC.

If they give Aquaman a fatality where he drags the opponent underwater and straight-up drowns their ass, I will buy this game.

That and give Harley her actual costume as an alt outfit. Because, yes, I'm still pissed off that they turned her into a hooker.

Now that I think about it, I always wondered why she ended up looking like a typical 80's high school reject that wanted to piss off daddy, while the rest of the villains just looked like they really needed to shower for once.

but the rebooted version of Riddler might, I dunno, all I know about him is that he has a stupid looking mohawk in the shape of a question mark because the New 52 is terrible
