is compact watercooling kit worth buying

I live in tropical climate with no airconditioned room, I don't overclock my machine, I run AMD phenom II x4 CPU, currently using Cooler Master H212+ heatsink and a pair of fan inside a well ventilated case (CM 690II)
since I put my CPU case next to a wooden panel of my desk, the sound of the fan resonate and amplified by the wood panel, so I consider entry level water cooling system like one of these

are these things worth buying, do they cool the CPU better than a pair of 12cm fans over aluminum heat sink tower, how noisy or quiet are these?
anyone with experience using these?

thanks

Liquid cooling is quieter, but my GOD is it a pain to install, and usually expensive, too.

yep the full / pro water cooling system is difficult to install and expensive, need to add cooler liquid, etc periodically... totally not my thing
but these compact cooling kit is close circuited, never need any refilling, and the radiator can be mounted below those harddrives cradles, or mounted outside on the back like a backpack.
price is around $100-200, some cooling fans + HSF are more expensive than that right?
