Hi.
first. I Worked with the MCM. And IN MUgen the Axis is not the same like the character, and is useful if you put the axis of the BG 0 something like this example:

and in the def is this :
[mcode]
[BG fondo]
type=normal
spriteno=0,0
layerno=0
start=0, 0 ; the sprite was not moved.
delta=1, 1
trans=none
mask=0[/mcode]
For the animations I and you can used this axis:

How can you move it?
in this line:
[mcode]
[bg cocol]
type=anim
actionno=3
start=-160, 120 ;<-----THis parameters
delta=1, 1
trans=none
layerno=0
mask=1[/mcode]
and in this case(the def file): -160 is x position and the image will be moved 160 pixels to LEFT(if you put 160 will be to RIGHT), 120 is y, and the image will be moved 120 pixels down.(if you put -120 will be up)
AH..and always use the Debugbg in 1:
[mcode][BGdef]
spr=stages/brujerizmo.sff
debugbg=1[/mcode]; this--
that reveals the Empty zones.
