these are playable enough, although they basically feel like more smoother versions of art of fighting characters essentially. it works despite the odd idea

i'm glad to see a jack turner that doesn't blow though

sooner or later, everybody puts up with xiangfei

Jack Turner's running punch has like, no cooldown after he throws the punch. He can immediately act the moment he retracts his fist. That includes doing another running punch.

Furthermore, for both characters that often brought up fundamental inaccuracy comes up once more. Yes, being able to crouch while running. Another one is hitting people in the air causing cornerpush and the fact that it uses hitdef cornerpush instead of say, Van's KOF custom cornerpush code.

More importantly, the KOFXIII gameplay feels forced on these two characters that aren't fully capable of doing it. Micky in particular is especially apparent when it comes to this. Like, look at his run. Like, they would actually be solid if they weren't trying to emulate a gameplay they can't really do correctly.

I'm also under the impression that people keep neglecting data from the game, do you guys know how PotS made his original characters? He actually studied every single game he referenced, down to the core. Doing this properly requires understanding how the original system was made, not just winging it.

Why do people keep making that mistake? You'd think by now crouching while running wouldn't be a problem.

i don't think anyone actually tells them lol

i still think these are pretty cool characters but they're more 'kof13-esque' than fullblown 13 style i'd say

Why do people keep making that mistake? You'd think by now crouching while running wouldn't be a problem.
People get too comfortable with MUGEN's default common1 even though it doesn't really do things how many fighting games would do them.
