Btw, I still loved what you've done for Ken in the past, will there still be an option to select which version of Ken's gameplay you can have?
Yes. Start+a,b will probably be SFIV, the start+punches will still be Violent and start+c will still be Master.

hope see the new jouen Shoryuken!

I'm still bugged about the QCF+HK kick having hitvel so P2 moves back because Ken needs more space between him and P2 otherwise he'd go through P2 but it ends up looking weird cause that and the next kick are the only ones that have hitvel and I dunno

Maybe use snap? Or put p2 in custom states for those kicks, so you can control p2's hitboxes. You could set up the spacing that way so that it's look good and prevent Ken from going through p2.

Snap? Like a BindToTarget? Eh. I dunno, I think I tried doing that and didn't like it.

Also there's no real way to set up the spacing that way; if P2 is positioned so that Ken is far away enough for the latter part of the animation to work, the first hits will look like they're too far away from P2 to hit, which looks pretty weird.

No, the Snap feature isn't like BindToTarget. It's more of a pixel placement feature when hitting p2. It can be used as a means to set p2 exactly how close or far you want them away from the player on hit. Sounds like it'd be worth a shot with how you explain it. I used this with my Sagat's Tiger Storm super. Along with custom get hit states.

It's basically the same thing, though. It still moves P2 around and it didn't look too good. Having P2 move back by giving the last two attacks a hitvel is pretty much the only thing that works.

Yeah, I can see that being the case. Maybe apply a bit of width on Ken so he doesn't go through p2. Just enough that it prevents him from going through p2, but not too much where it looks weird. A subtle amount.

Also tried that, didn't help. Ken moves forward a whole bunch, the amount of width needed to prevent him from going through P2 is enough to make it look pretty weird.
