That's exactly the point I'm trying to make.  Rubber Soul deserves to be in ASB to make up for how lousy he was executed in CPS3 JJBA.  As a character I guess he was okay (could have been better though) but as Rubber Soul he was miserable.  Make him like Double or Geegus where he can morph into other characters for animations or whatever.

ah my bad, that'd be fun actually, would like more minor characters like him but hard to get hopes up since we don't know how much they'll add this time.

As far as "midget" characters go, Emporio should be the next addition.
How would Emporio even work in a fighting game?  The full extent of his abilities involve hiding in an imaginary room and pissing himself.  I know he uses Weather Report's stand for like 3 panels at the tail end of part 6, but they may as well just put Weather Report in instead at that point.

Though I guess that's a problem that a lot of the later arcs share;  a lot of the major character's abilities start getting too abstract to translate well into a fighting game.

I personnaly would really like to see Devo since he is one of my favorite antagonist from part 3

Could be hard to do in 3D but the PS3 can still surprise me so I guess

Maybe something like MK9 CPU Shang Tsung's morphs or something?

Yeah, ZepTech also sent an email to Play-Asia a couple of days ago and he got the same reply.
I guess we'll have to wait until Jump Festa for the announcement/Teaser, I will be extremely happy if the game actually comes out in March but I still feel like it's too soon.

Remember how the first roster leak from ASB was spot-on save for a handful of extra characters?
Maybe we'll see the rest of the Part V gang (Trish, Abbacchio) along with Risotto and Ghiaccio, DIO's sons from part 6? They have neat abilities, Hot pants, Wekapipo... maaaaybe Ringo Roadagain and Blackmore... multiple Jotaros (I still don't see why would they be separate characters but we know CC2). WHEELCHAIR POLNAREFF.

Actually since they mention tag, that opens for a lot of possibilities, one being tag supers or tandem attacks so... Sandman? (That way you can have Diego and Sandman)
I hope the "3D arena" thing is a mistranslation and the game retains the same core gameplay, I don't want this to play like a Naruto/DBZ game.

Also I wonder if they'll update the part III cast with their proper anime voice actors (I'll miss Old Sugita, Gai Avdol, Vash Kakyoin and Sanji Polnareff though)

I don't see Dio being a different character (Then again CC2), but eh.. I wouldn't mind that, as of now I think he might just be a GHA or transformation for Diego. We'll see.
I'm really hopeful of this being a direct sequel retaining the core gameplay and just adding tag (I mean they announced some key characters missing, from ASB for a reason, right?) instead of some sort of spiritual sequel that reuses assets and radically changes gameplay, we'll find out whenever famitsu's scans are out or at Jump Festa in four days.

Hold on, did anyone state if it was going to be a "sequel" to ASB? Because all of the articles that I've seen stated only that it was going to be an "Adventure" game, and not a fighting game. Eh, this needs more clarification.

Seems the gameplay will be more like the usual stuff from CC2.

There'll be more info this weekend so the answer will come pretty quickly.

I hope they include a less botched up story mode, or at least an "alternate universe" story mode that explains why all these characters from different timelines get to meet up. I'm okay with it no matter how dumb it'll sound.

That's awesome.  Diego and Stroheim were some of the only really 'necessary' characters that got left out of ASB.  Add them, F.F. and Speedwagon and you've already got pretty much everyone you need.  Everyone else from that point is just fanservice.  Which I am totally cool with.

I hope they include a couple more Jojolion characters this time around.  At the very least Kyo or Yotsuyu would be fun to play as.

nice to hear about von stroheim dont know alot about diego but it is still a good addition
