That's my least favorite meme, out of all the important characters missing from the game he's should be the lowest priority and I'm sure we discussed this pages ago.
He's fine as an announcer.

Fuck memes, Speedwagon legitimately owns.  He's the only non-Jojo to play major roles in more than one part and come out alive both times, plus the foundation he set up was instrumental in helping the protagonists all the way up through part 6 until the big reset.

Besides, I can't really think of many characters more important than him who aren't already in the game.  Stroheim, F.F. and Diego, but that's about it.

Both major roles in which he doesn't fight (except for his introduction in part 1).

He fights the zombies in Dio's castle with Straits and Tonpetty while Jonathan was dealing with Dio!  Got a big-ass hammer and everything!

If fucking Fatty got to be playable, then Speedwagon is long overdue.

Some of the Hamon users would be better fits, I love Speedwagon too but I can't see him being a good playable character

He is a supporting character, it wouldn't be interesting to make him a playable character. The only thing we've seen him do is throw a hat, and fight random zombies. Nothing worth making him a playable character.

Anyway we all know that if they even bother adding any more Phantom Blood characters at all it'll almost certainly be Bruford and that's it.  Just let a man dream, dammit!

I don't even know how I forgot Straizo, he should have been one of the first people I thought of.  Hell you could even do Dire if you wanted.  There's a ton of potential new characters I'd think of before Speedwagon.

- Straizo
- Stroheim
- Petshop
- One of the Anubis sword users, preferably Kahn.
- Okay, pretty much most of the cast of the Capcom JJBA game that wasn't in ASB
- Josuke's Grandpa
- Alt costume for Kosaku Kawajiri from this page in the manga (NSFW)
- GUEST ARAKI CHARACTER: Irene

Yes, yes.  You've all made your point.  There's a laundry list of characters that are more likely to get put in before Speedwagon;  Trish, Yukako, Tarkus, Bruford, Santana, Sandman, Hot Pants, everyone else who was in Heritage for the Future, Risotto Nero, fuck maybe even Joshu.  I get it.

I still want to see Speedwagon more than I do those other jokers.

Assuming you are being genuine and not passive aggressive I appreciate it, but I'm not sure I can guarantee I have much else to share with Mugen's community. 

I kind of want Dire just so he can have that stupid kick as a GHA.  That and so he and Straizo can have unique dialogue together.

So who should be the new "Fatty"?  The character we get so we can be thrown for a loop.  Tonpetty?

As far as "midget" characters go, Emporio should be the next addition.

Also, wheelchair Polnareff should be another addition, I kinda want to see Abbacchio too but other than copying and pasting how he fights in Golden Wind (Recording actions like a Tandem attack), I have no idea how to make him into an actual fighting game character.

stone ocean had kenzo and viviano westwood who are basically the only characters i can think of that actually use hand-to-hand fighting styles alongside their stands, and neither of them showed up in the fighting game. that is all
