Hi this is Kirby98 and I ripped these sprites because I can't find them anywhere on the internet and I wanted to upload these here because I really wanted this character to become a playable newcomer for Mugen!

She is not very well known or popular outside Japan since her name was never released in America. I love Josette and I am a fan of her and she comes from the Nintendo 64 video game called Wonder Project J2 which was the sequel of another game that never made it to America.

Josette is like a female gender bend of Pinocchio because she was made after another character according to the game's story the boy Pino which was inspired by Pinocchio before Wonder Project J2 exists he died and his maker which you could easily guess that it was Geppetto whom made Josette after Pino's death so there's some Pinocchio inspired reference for you readers out there!

This took me 4 days to make this I know it don't look like much but it is a lot of hard work I tried to rip them using texture dump and Lemmy's plugin but nothing seems to work so I had to use alt print screen to take out these sprites and that's why some of these images looked a little missed up with the transparent and the background I got these from comes in a black background where it was the only best place for me to rip sprites from Wonder Project J2.

I would like Josette to be made in the style of a Smash Bros character just don't add dodge or rolling moves please because I can't find the right sprites for those and she will only have the moves I added to the sheet with details on what keys to be pressed or events that triggers those sprites of Josette.

I am quite surprised no one ever made a mugen fighter of Josette and she looks almost perfect for the part because of so many poses and animations to choose from. She only lacked sprites for dodging or rolling over. She can block and throw to say the least.

Josette comes from Enix during the time they've used to be an individual company before joining forces with Square and Givro better known as Almanic for making EVO Search for Eden and the Givro company was defunct since the late 90's.
