why is it that everyone ether on here or on there own forum makes the same characters over in over again like ryu and ken there has to be more then 50 of the same ones ether with diffrent names special moves or looks why not make something different if i had the time to do it i would my self now this is just a ? iam not complaining just woundering

people code what they like, some characters are more prone to be liked than others.And if you mean originals, then, not everyone can sprite originals.

No it's pretty much way harder and longer to sit down and sprite a character even if you know what your doing.Coding becomes the easy part.

i know its very hard to start makeing a charcter as far as programing i dont no iam sure it might be hard as well i work pretty much every single day so i never have the time to start a charcter
And what makes you think anyone else can do what you can't do ?If you just say "oh I don't have time, I don't have the skills, I don't know how" then expect everyone else to do exactly the same. If you want someone to do it, do it yourself, maybe you will be entitled to decently expect others to do the same. Mugen isn't a job, you do it when you want, for as long as you want. There is nothing that says "you must code mugen for 8 hours every day".Take it bit at a time. Go slow. I don't have time to code MUGEN; my time's consumed with music, if not work and everything else going on in my life, yet, I still post here, because though I don't need to feel like I gotta code anything to post something on an Internet forum, MUGEN's a big part of me; hell, with the music I put in for the stages, it's intergrated itself on how I engineer and produce music. I have to EQ some songs so they can have a certain loudness for a stage. That's helped train my ears for certain frequencies and what to listen for when mastering my own projects. I'm sorry for breaking the rules about coding and posting here, but shit, it's only the Net and laws are made to be broken =P. My RL friends, my relationships, and downtime for myself all have priority over MUGEN coding and bullshit, yet, even they know MUGEN is the shit and they know I'm into the characters and the creators no matter who does them (well....okay, maybe not Beppu's), which is why I feel like I can contribute to this forumOn/Topic: - as for why someone would ask why people make so many Kens and Ryu's....shit, might as well ask why is the sky blue, or why is water wet. It would prolly had helped if one asked who, in their opinion, create the best Ken and Ryus, something like that. Cause already, the typical flames have begun because of dude's opening post. Bad Intentions or not, it happen. Another reason why MUGEN's deffo not gonna be a priority in my life anytime soon, but there's also some decent people that make it worth coming back to and maybe giving more to. Lates
