I never took the time to test H's but now I'm definitely going to.

I also kind of like LOTF's and RyonAnthony's based on what I saw of them (never actually tried them but am going to (prob going to edit as well))

Nah, I'm just messing around. Chosen Ken is my Ken of choice. Cuz' he's chosen.

 1.P.O.T.S. made a ken?

1) Yes, he made a Ken. Private, though.

2) Chosen Ken is one of the many versions of Ken out there. However, I don't have the most up to date version because:

a) Inability to chain the counter super with the Shipu Jinri Kyaku.
b) Altered Ryuken-chains.
c) Counter super command changed (even though I could change it myself)
d) The throw that could be chained from certain moves taken out. Granted, it was glitchy, but it worked when used after the second hit of the strong Tatsumaki.
e) Alternate Level 3 Shinryuken taken out.

It went Private  ???

Chosen Ken was still hosted at its site when I just checked it but indeed I doubt it was the NEWEST version (haven't redownloaded it FROM THERE yet though)  :-\

That's not THE Chosen Ken.
Chosen Ken is a char that is very unique and variation of CvS Ken created by Chosen01
The video you posted was of qwerwgrebew's CHEAP AI Patch to Chosen Ken which was released, but then made Private again after a funny ass incident, IMO, with a leaked Patch, where he and I got accused of releasing it, when we didn't... ya know what, forget it. Long story  ;P

He created another but didn't release that because he personally didn't like the coding style but in the second he didn't touch the CNS.



I WILL BE CODING A NEW FAIR'er' Chosen Ken AI Patch"  complete with modifications to the "New Move Chosen01 Coded into his last release of Chosen Ken"


It will mark the re-release of both qwer's Cheap AI patch Chosen Ken and the Release of my Faairer Patch (just like Haohmaru  ;P):

The only problem with H"'s SVC Ken is that in SVC mode, his everywhere cancels are a bit screwed, considering about every combo that is cancelled from Tatsumaki puts you in the air. I wouldn't think it would be the hardest problem to fix in his CMD though, so yeah.

Otherwise, H" did a better job than SNK with the gameplay. I personally prefer Normal mode. It's like a Capcom/SNK hybrid. I don't like KOF mode because it's pretty much a 2k2 mode, which is pretty crap (IMO of course) because you can't do higher level Supers without being under 1/4 HP. Still cool that he added variety of stuff to do with Ken though.

And did I mention you can access Violent Ken mode with pal 7-12. Sweet. And H" even took a realistic approach to his gameplay so he's not filled with imbalanced stuff.

Meh, I perfer GM's Ken.

There are better Ken's in all ways out there not just a certain play type but I'm comfortable playing with GM's.

I actualy went threw 70 rounds with the guy.  :sugoi:

I second that. GM's Ken is definitely the way to go in all aspects IMO. Warusaki3's as well, but I like SF3 more than CVS.

Except for the fact he doesn't have a Violent mode. But I don't like Violent Ken so yeah, normal Ken ftw.

Personally i love Chosen 01's ken, he's pretty much all I play with (big ken fan)  But my opinion is a little biased because while I have played a few different Kens, I've never tried GM's ken.  Is he still available, if so where?

Thanks a lot Siu Wong.  This ken is definately harder to play as than Chosen Ken, get my butt whooped by ryu vega and akuma by POTS.

He doesn't have dodges or rolls and he's a bit slower because he has more frames. But if you get good at him, he's very hard to beat. Have you tried VSing him when he's wearing white gi? (Pal3 I think)

He's a more 'expert' character, so to speak.

yea his speed is definitely something to adjust to, but i enjoy how close his play is to SF3.  What does the white gi do.

When you VS his AI when he's wearing the white gi, his AI is considerably harder.

Not like his normal AI is easy, but his white gi AI is harder.
