KFM in a real 3D stage in ShugenDo

Hello Guys,

it is a long time since my last update. Today I want to show you KFM in a real 3D environment. In ShugenDo it is possible to mix 2D characters with a 3D background. I try to upload a video about it next week. In general you can create a 3D background in any CAD program of your choice, like 3DSMAX, Maya or Blender.

Here some screenshots about a test environment. 





Btw I am looking for someone who wants to create the KFM stage of mugen in 3D for ShugenDo. When interested PM me please.

I swear, I was just talking about ShugenDo. Nice to see there's still progress, and this looks extremely promising.

Considering the angle, would ring out's be a possible feature in the future?

Interesting idea, it is possible and you can archive it pretty easy with ShugenDo.

Looks neat, I do have a passing interest in learning to make stages. Can't take the project of KFM stage in 3D though.

Are 3D characters possible or is it just stages for now?

Thats right, I used blender to create this scene. You can also do your characters in 3D.

That does reminds me of games like Capcom vs SNK 2 and Marvel vs Capcom 2. I say it's a pretty neat feature.

So my question would be, can the characters  interact to the ground?
Like could they be able to walk on diagonal platforms n such? Not just a straight ground

You will be able to create such things, ShugenDo is powered by a physics engine and it allows stuff like that ;)

So amaizing! It takes interactivity to a whole another level.
I mean there are ways to do it in the regular mugen too, but i bet your ways are going to be way more simple :D
