I only ever had two complaints with the game: one, the pricing model, and two, the console it's on.  Now they've assured everyone that they'll be able to buy a complete game as well I don't have any real beef with it.  It's just a shame I'm not going to buy a console for it.

i a huge killer inctinct fan and its one of my best fighting games ever the ultra combo is not like it was in ki1 when the characters were attacking faster and punishing your opponent and the combos are little slow i dont like when the announcer says fight i like when he just said ready and then the fight started it reminds me of street fighter and other 2D fighting games the game looks amazing and the guy in the video when he tells the story of jago it almost like the game is after ki2 i know rare would not do this game again

yeah, I completely forgot that integral detail... I guess having EX moves has become pretty much a standard in fighting games on a 2D plane but if it´s to keep the classic KI gameplay that´s ok.

I don´t know, I feel it looks too much like SF4... looks great and all but I can´t just recall that detail in my mind everytime.

KI2 had a parry mechanic as well. I wonder if/hope that's gonna return as they've only mentioned stuff for offense.

Well, EX moves are generally designed to have an extra tactical use (hit properties and such), but the shadow moves here seem entirely designed around extending combos like crazy, not caring if this version has upper body invincibility or things like that.
If I struggled to the end of my determination, to the end of my way of life with my followers, if the result is ruin, then this ruin is inevitable. Grieve. Shed tears. But you cannot regret.

They talked about stuff like that with the tornado kick or whatever it's called, it has invincibility against projectiles, so they are pretty much ex moves now.

they have been like that since KI2, probably even Ki 1, though less characters had those in that version.
