Seems more like he's Shadow Jago with Gargos's influence amplified.  He'll probably have Gargos moves.

The trailer was a new approach but it was done like that because Iron Galaxy did a gameplay stream.

Anyway here is her ultra. It looks so vicious.



and at the end, you can hear her KI theme sampled. Mick Gordon is fuckin' Awesome for doing that!

That image is a really shitty comparison because Sakura is totally different, and Kyoko is an NPC.  ANyway there's only one alt Jago so chill.
