This is my project the King from those awful CD-i games. I know that ytps are not liked around here but please do not let that affect your opinion of the gameplay when he is released. His gameplay will be that of 6 button King of the fighters style. Whats done: required sprites, all basic attacks, and 1 special.
KOF style is 4 buttons. His shading looks a bit wonky and his stance could use a bit more of a regal look to it. I'm pretty sure he was more wide in the CD-I games as well. It's a nice start, though.

My question is does he have enough sprites to work with? I remember Kame having heavy issues with Falcon over a lack of sprites.

As much as I like that Godzilla-screaming earthquake King Harkinian, this one intrigues me; it would be nice to play as an actual King Harkinian character, rather than two shoulders and a head Not sure if the King wears trainers or not...
A suggestion, what if he heldin his left hand the glass that he is so infamous for using? When turning around, he could pass it from hand to hand.OH I have a funny idea on a Hyper Combo! He points towards the opponent, and says "Take him away", the guard from Wand of Gamelon appears, runs past the king and attempt to run into the opponent, dragging them offscreen if he succeeds.If he succeeds, a lot of cartoonish pummeling sounds are heard, and the opponent are thrown back to the arena.A special move could have the King use The triforce of Courage to teleport to a different spot (remember, he borrowed in Wand of Gamelon) and would mimic Farore's (Godess of Courage) Wind from OoT.He could have a special or a basic move where he shugs wine from his glass at the opponent.Otherwise, I would avoid anything he uses from the Youtube Poop vids and stick to what he got in the CDi games or the canon Zelda games.Just to avoid overused shit.

I believe he's referred to as Fari.
Update bump: Started coding his 2nd special move and adjusted his clsn boxes to be more kof like. Next to do is figure out how to stop him from crouching while running, and code his 3rd special move.

Bump for progress I guess. Sorry for no updates I've hit a slump because I have no clue how to code his supers so if anybody has suggestions for supers please post them.

Didn't one person create a KOF game with him in it? If so, that could be insperation, as he had a good moveset.
