So what does everyone here think about Kirby's Epic Yarn coming out for the Wii soon?  I'm gonna get it!  Looks VERY cool.

Honestly, I hate how they use the word Epic.
I liked Kirby for being Kirby. Though Kirby's Canvas Curse was alright, not one of my favorites. I think they over killed the little cute puff ball with this idea. I'd rather them stick with the platform engine they've used for the DS games. If the yarn was only temporary, THEN I would probably have a different thought about it. But from the looks of it, it seems like we're stuck with a Yarn Kirby like we were stuck with a ball Kirby for Kirby's Canvas Curse. :S

Although I love kirby with a passion, it was kinda getting repetitive with the DS games.
At least with this this takes out some of the most fundamental elements in Kirby and replaces them with stuff that is really different.

I'm up for some change.

The inability to fly?
Copying powers via rope and not sucking in? Yes they did confirm copy powers.
Interacting with powers via rope?
And heck yeah, lassoing enemies.

To be honest, I sort of liked it. I agree with Kawaii-Desu, the gameplay was getting a little repetitive (seemed like I was moving underwater at times since the gameplay was so slow).

Anyways, change is good. Nintendo has yet to publish a terrible game, so lets see where this title will lead them.
