At the time of this posting, it's New Year's Day in China, so MugenChina has updated KOFZ, King of Fighters Zillion for short. The links for the page I found the download link at, as well as the download link itself, are listed below. You'll have to log in to Mugenchina to fully see the MugenChina page though, and then you'll have to make a post in the thread. Anyway, I had too much trouble trying to download the new KOFZ myself, so I'm not entirely sure what's in this particular update. If someone could reupload KOFZ to a more accessible link, such as Megaupload or Mediafire, it'd be much appreciated.

Oh, and to download KOFZ, you'll have to also download the RaySource application, which is available at the same site that the download itself is on.

Thanks Shank88. I ended up not needing it, but I'm sure there's plenty others that could make use of those links. Anyway, now that I've played this version, I now know what's in it. The powerbars (not to be confused with lifebars,) have been updated, and are now bigger and blue. As for characters, there's good news and bad news. The bad news is that despite what the poster on the MugenChina page may lead you to believe, the updated Dash (a KOFZ character that was taken out to be revised,) is not in. The good news that there's 5 more characters then in the last release of October 09. One of these is Iori, who returns after being worked on some more, though we'll have to wait for his KOFXII version, which is very well in progress. The others are Duck King, Chizuru, Foxy, and Robert. Robert's the most interesting, as he has 3 versions. Yes, Terry and Ryo do too, and Kyo sort of has 5, but Robert's versions mixes his different versions from the official games. 02 Robert is a mix of Classic Robert (AOF, KOF94-95,) and 02 Robert, 03 Robert is a mix of 98 Robert and 03 Robert, and NGBC Robert is a mix of 99-00 Robert and NGBC Robert. You should notice the mixes when you play them enough. Just try everything. And finally, I leave you with a video of Dash and KOFXII Iori.

EDIT: Oh, and you'll need the previous version of KOFZ. This is an update, not an entirely new build.

Just don't use it. Just use the regular KOFZ.

And, since I'm posting; with Duck King, you can do Down+HK,HK for an extra attack, though you must wait for the first HK to hit before you do the second HK. You can also do F,D,DF+Both Kicks for Duck King's anti-air from RBFF2, though remember to mash the kick buttons afterward for the full attack. Finally, like Chonrei (who is also in the game,) Duck King has a few small chain combos.

Sometimes it does, at least with the first MK3. Did you get the latest update, with Robert, Duck King, Chizuru, Foxy, and Iori? You do know that not everyone with a portrait is in the game, right?

I love how the idea of the set up with extra mode characters. Too bad some of them are not finished yet. But I am loving the set up for K', Terry, Ryo, and Kyo. I wish Kyo had his MI one in there. I can't seem to find it.

Anyway here is my testimonials for KOFZ;

-I found out that Terry's KOF 96-2002 has a infinite.
-Nameless has a buggy intro with K'9999
-I came across a freeze with Vice. I think Vice has a major bug that has something to do with a CNS in the pla file.
-Mr.Karate 2 can not connect with his crouching Lk into crouching Hp just like Jin's Mr. Karate 2. For some reason they collaborated with Jin.
-Krauser is done perfectly
-If I was Mugenchina, I would talk to Jin about his Rugal Bernstein, maybe with 5 Rugal ideas (Rugal, Omega Rugal, Rugal 2k2 from other Rugals that we've seen, Rugal '94, and God Rugal '94 from Jin's Rugal). What I mean by Rugal '94 is the Rugal that Jin edited to make him how he is in CvS but in KOF style shading.
-Mai and Billy's red have been recolored. I've noticed they used the KOF 2002 UM sprites for Billy and Mai as to the reason Billy's Alt mode and Mai altogether has a recolored/reshaded red tone.
-Chonrei is cheap as shit. He is the cheesiest than Kraft Macaroni.
-Also, I would of loved to seen Alt Terry having the Low Punch, Uppercut, then Giant Geyser super he had in Fatal Fury: Wild Ambition. That would of been key.
-Counters seem to come out when they want to. Meaning that when you do it, it operates like random.
-No problems with Just Defend
-MAX is sometimes hard to turn on
-Kyo is pure awesomeness
-Something is the matter with Syo's CLS and CNS, he doesn't act crazy on high levels, they need to rework his AI a bit -_-
-As well as that red head girl from Aggressors. Her AI doesn't seem to act up as well. Her and Syo are a bit of let's say, PUSHOVERS!

Overall 94% for;

Intro
-Groove Settings such as MAX 2 HSDMs
-Then the Dream Cancel ideas
-Evade and Dodge ideas compelled together

-Then some combo systems work. Making NGBC characters act in KOF mannerisms was hard work for Mugenchina, but easy if you know how to dangle with their AI, CLS, and CNS. Which is something I was learning even with CvS people.
