Hey guys, I recently created an OC based on Sean from Street Fighter III - 3rd Strike. I also entered the character in a fan based contest on deviant art. I'd love to team up with someone to make him an actual character for M.U.G.E.N.
I don't have too much sprite editing skills but I can work on all other artwork, intros and endings. I was even considering comissioning someone from here to assist create the character but I can see a lot of people are overwhelmed with projects. If you're interested, please do let me know.

Here's Kwan's Bio:

Kwan Matsuda is the son of Sean Matsuda & Elena. Sean traveled to the Caribbean islands and met DeeJay in Jamaica for more training. Him and DeeJay heard rumors of Gouki sightings in neighboring islands. He eventually traveled to Haiti and encountered Elena who was there studying. Her father who is qualified in France for a doctorate in medicine always spoke of the native traditional healers in Haiti. Sean and Elena fell in love and Kwan was born.

Kwan is a mixed martial artist who continued his father's mission of finding Ryu and beating him in a fight. After finding the legendary fighter, he fights and wins the match. As a token, Ryu gives Kwan his original white head band & instructs him to enter the new world warrior tournament. Kwan agrees and returns to his father to tell him about his victory. He's aware of his son great skills but believes his son only won because of Ryu's old age. Sean sends his son to the address of Mel Masters mansion and they two become well acquainted and training buddies. Ken is very surprised to see the great skills of Kwan, let alone proof of the white head band. He insists that him and his son train hard in preparation for the new world warrior tournament.

Where exactly do you have the information of Elena being Sean's son?
That doesn't make any sense...

dude, it's an Oc, so it's most likely an original idea, assuming you mean elena being sean's waifu, because what you typed made no sense.

at OP: have you made any sprites yet ? that's an important part for conceptualizing a new character.

No, Elena being Sean's mother doesn't make sense, or this Kwan guy being Sean's father
I thought it was official that Sean is the son of Ken and Eliza Masters (afterall, he is actually called Sean Masters, and I can clearly remember that Ken and Eliza had two sons).

Also, where did you read that Sean is Ken's son?
Oh...looks like I have misread that...
...well, then...uhm...it's not that bad then, though it would be better if his backstory gets more detail so we now, when excatly what happened (I can only assume that this could play after SF3TS)...
...oh, and I can remember some official sources pointing that Sean is Ken's son, beside of Sean's full name being Sean Masters.
EDIT: Okay, looks like I didn't check too much about Street Fighter 3...he really isn't Ken's son, and actually IS called Matsuda...now I will not discuss anything regrding Street Fighter 3 backstories...that's too much of a hassle for me...

Fanfiction stuff aside, is there any sprites you (wearevenom) have to showcase or anything (even if it's just one just to see the character in sprite form)?

Looks interesting and all, but can't really say it's a project yet with only a portrait. If you're looking for someone to help you with the spriting, you can always commission someone.

LoL guys, read carefully. Kwan is an OC (Original Character) who is the son of SEAN who is NOT related to Ken Masters. His name is Sean Matsuda because he is an OC Fan made Son of Sean and Elena. Elena is from Street Fighter 3 and is the tribal princess from Africa.

Sean had traveled to meet with DeeJay in Jamaica. While there, rumors of a mysterious fighter using the dark hadou was spreading. Sean travels to neighboring island Haiti, where he encounters Elena who was doing her studies according to her father. (Read her bio via Street Fighter wikia)
Her and Sean fall in love, have a baby and Kwan is created. Fast forward and Kwan is about 22/23 years old and a well trained martial artist.

Anywho, I'm currently working on some sample sprites but would rather work on the art while collaborating with someone who can knock out the sprites.
