Vanquish

If there ever was a game id call intense thats vanquish, might have said it about mw2 but after this mw2 was pussysauce. My only complaint is the lack of replayability but its an arcade game so yeah, go rent this NOW.

Devil May Cry 4

This game was fucking horrible.  Shitty controls, shitty story, shitty camera, shitty music, everything about it was shitty except Dante's missions.  I like Nero as a character but the whole game was a gimmicky mess.  Fuck this game.

Variable Geo 1 for PC

A really tough game, especially because you can't configure buttons (strange configs here :S), you can't perform well the few moves it has and the CPU doesn't give you rest. But to see defeated girls in NSFW images worths it, priceless :sugoi:

(also I wanted to rip those sprites, damn DOS!!)

999: 9 Hours, 9 Persons, 9 Doors for DS

Possibly one of the best DS game in 2010 for me. Its a visual novel with puzzle game mixed with a well scripted story with 6 different endings. I recommend playing this game if you get a chance to.

I finally got the time to finish OKami last night. The bosses were on an epic scale for the most part, in terms of their size, but they were also a bit too easy though IMO.I went through the entire game without dying even once. =P

Overall, it's an awesome game with great music, great visuals, great story, great sense of humour and a huge sense of adventure that just feels awesome.

Well...time to finally finish up dragon quest 8. I've been putting off facing the final boss for a while. You know a game is great when you just don't want it to end. :)

Spider-man:  Shattered Dimensions

pretty fucking fun.  A lot better than Web of Shadows.  It's not really that long, I beat it in only 2 nights, so I'm glad I only rented.

I wouldn't say finished, but i'm doing things legally with a guest pass so my time is limited anyway

Starcraft 2

After the initial very very agravating install method (why must i patch before i play single player?) And running through all the shit i have to do to make what i'm doing legal (seriously, i see why people pirate) and i haven't bought anything new for ages which made all this worse.

I put it on normal, because i'm not really that fantastic at RTS although i enjoy it and... simplicity? A small squad of marines (not more than 6) and 2 medics and i can blow through the first 4 missions without any stress at ALL. In starcraft 1 i'd been killed in mission 4 and i had that on normal too. I shall persist until my guest pass runs out but although it's pretty, the challenge is lacking.

Except in the arcade shmup. That was actually hard.

Patching changes the entire game, not just multiplayer, balance changes, damage tweaks, bug fixes and etc. Speaking of which I have 2 SC2 and 2 World of Warcraft guest passes from my Cataclysm purchase if anyone wants to try either.

It started out ok, but damn did it end up being easy. Like Newgrounds flash game easy (well almost).

Scott Pilgrim VS The World

You spend the first 5 or 6 areas busting your ass off to finish all the goons, but after you reach level 13 the game pretty much breaks, and you become ULTRA over powered. One night after I got to level 15, I finished the game in all 3 difficulties, and it was a breeze.

Amazing Old School Graphics - Check
Amazing Old School Soundtrack - Check
Amazing Old School Gameplay - Kinda hard :(

Still, it's a must play.

Akatsuki Blitzkampf

Another of those games I actually said: "God!! Why I didn't know/play this game before?? What I was thinking??". Awesome sprites, stages, music, intro, gameplay, everything!! Even I was to cosplay some of the guys there!! (but sadly no one knows a shit about this game in my country :()
