Lego Batman 2

Regular Lego mission deal with a sandbox Gotham City for a hub world where you're able to fly around as Superman with his theme song playing over the usual Batman music.

Slightly depressing this is probably the best Superman game ever.  Other words, pretty fun co-op and solo game.

Why no Wonder Woman theme playing when she's flying though? :(

Voyage: Journey to the Moon [Steam version]

They finally released this game from the same creators of Return to Mysterious Island in Steam. I loved it in the past, and I still love it. I really like the fact that you can try to solve puzzles and other problems in different ways, which removes the linear part of the adventure games, at least a bit. If you like adventure point-and-click games, you will most likely love this game. It's short, but it's cheap and since it's been recently released the price is lower, at least by 50%

Uncharted 2 (replay on hard/trophy collecting)

I kinda fucked this up and didn't realize I had to beat it on Hard to unlock Crushing... played it on Normal a couple years ago, played it on Hard just now, and still have a Crushing playthrough at some point. Anyway, this is one of those games that I like more than I think I like. Loved it the first time, kind of forgot why and doubted my memories, played it again and loved it the whole way through. I'm probably going to head on to 3 now and save the final replay for another time.

edit: Tried it on Crushing. You know what? Nope. Just nope. Not gonna go there.

Yeah, Crushing difficulty can really crush you sometimes, AI can be really cheap with the bullets hitting with so much lethal accuracy, and since you also take even more damage, get ready for lots of moments in which you will be forced to stay on cover and only have the chance to shoot once. Also in some events in which you're forced to run away while being attacked it becomes a true nightmare. And let's not talk about the goddamn last boss.

Yeah, attempt Crushing difficulty much later, when you're really prepared for it. You're not going to enjoy it in some parts, so it's better you go for the third game first.

I played through to Chapter 5 on Crushing and while I don't doubt I could beat it, it's going to be frustrating rather than fun. So nope. I have a whole shelf full of shit I haven't played. I think I'll play 3 on Hard and just do the one playthrough, Crushing can fuck off.

I know everyone's going to talk about Azure Striker soon enough, but I'd like to make a point on Mighty Gunvolt...

The graphics, music and general design makes me all warm and happy inside. <3
It's a short experience, but a brilliant moment of the day.

Way of the Samurai 3

I got a bad ending, because:
1. I got the people from the left side castle killed, because I told them it's much more honorable to die in battle rather than to run away and live another day.
2. I let the heir girl get captured by them blue samurais. Whoops.

I'll try and side with the blue guys this time just so I can gain their trust and then kill them without them expecting it.

Mega Man X4
-----------------
It's a game I can finish over and over again and still enjoy it. Its neat level design, a bitchin' soundtrack, cool sprites (Save for Slash Beast what the hell is wrong with his face when he stands upright), and cutscenes of robots being violently mutilated easily make this my favorite mega man x game and nice to finally have on my vita. The main thing that keeps this game from being perfect is that the game has the weirdest difficulty curve. Like, 85% of the time the game is way too easy and the helmet upgrade giving you infinite special weapon ammo doesn't help in that at all. Then you try to get the upgrades in Jet Stingray's stage, fight Magma Dragoon as Zero, and engage Sigma in one hell of an endurance match and you're like "Oh this is the where the moderate difficulty that Mega Man X games normally have is hiding".

I'm also under the impression that people keep neglecting data from the game, do you guys know how PotS made his original characters? He actually studied every single game he referenced, down to the core. Doing this properly requires understanding how the original system was made, not just winging it.

To be honest, I dont even find the last fight using Zero challenging. I remember I started playing that games using self-imposed challenges, like not using reserve tanks because of that.

But yeah, it's a great game.

I agree, the game is really good, but damn, I never really saw that game as hard. Maybe because I kept on replaying it on my PSP? I even remember me playing the whole game without dying more than 5 times, and without sub tanks, though, I only used Zero. I sucked when it came to X. It's a real shame the MMX franchise started to fall apart from that point.

And as for the difficulty spikes, MMX6 says hi.

I am not sure if I can say that X6 has difficulty spikes or difficulty scribble all over the fucking graph

Dangan Ronpa 2: Goodbye Despair [PSVita]

Aaaaaand I'm done with this game. Like with the first game, awesome plot, interesting characters, good plot-twists and really entertaining trials. I don't like the new Hangman's Gambit though, it's a total mess because of how many letters appear and how fast they are. The Logic Dive seems kind of pointless too, I mean, a surfing kind-of-game? However, the Rebuttal battle with swords is awesome, though it can be a bit of a pain without proper skills.

So yeah, it's a good game, I highly recommend you to play it.
