Batman: Arkham Origins (PC)
pretty much exactly what I expected, a full game-length expansion of Arkham City, but with a shit load of glitches and jankier combat (like seriously, it feels really weird, I miss City's combat, it felt so goddamn smooth
). Story is, like the previous two Arkham games, is silly and stupid as fuck, but not really like, terrible, or anything.
Also the end credits are 30 fucking minutes long, I swear to fucking God, I timed that shit; pure insanity. And they move so, so slowly! And I can't use the Adam West costume because it's PS3 exclusive? At least Microsoft's exclusive deals generally expire, ugh, it's so fucking dumb. >:[

so uh, remember how they built up Black Mask as the main antagonist of the game, but then it's revealed that it's been Joker all along, and Black Mask shows up in like one scene? That's pretty crazy. I mean, Black Mask isn't exactly a classic villain or anything (he's pretty meh, he's not crazy, he's just a mob boss with a sometimes-permanently-attached mask on, boooooring), so it's not a huge loss, but jeez am I sick of the Joker being the ultimate antagonist in every Arkham game. I really thought they'd do something else this time!
At least that will (probably, hopefully) be an impossibility with Arkham Knight!
All in all, a fun game, but I'm glad I didn't buy this at release, because it really didn't deserve to be bought at full price.
