Dawn of the Planet of the Apes
Now that Caesar has established his leadership over San Franci-pffffffft just kidding.
No, wait I'm totally serious.
Dawn of the Planet of the Apes
The virus from the last movie spread out and wiped out most of humanity, and now the apes have started their own colony. But humans aren't quite dead yet, so maybe there's a chance the survivors can cooperate with the apes???
I'm probably biased because I'm a huge Planet of the Apes fan (basically, think about Jmorphman and Gundam. That's how I am with Planet of the Apes), but I found this movie to be AMAZING. I love how for the majority of the movie, everyone's in a morally grey area. And as Balth said up above, this is probably the best CG you will ever see in a movie today, and I'm pretty sure a big part of it has to do with how well-developed the ape characters are. Hell, even the non-Andy Serkis ape actors do a really good job of it.
Just to give you an idea of how good this movie is, it actually stomps the assholes of most of the movies from the original series in my opinion.

Spoiler: ASL BONUS (click to see content)
This is the first time I've seen a movie in this series since I've started learning ASL. And quite frankly, it's pretty cool how a lot of what's being signed matches up to what's being said. Obviously, not everything's correct (a lot of what's being signed is a lot less specific than what's being subtitled), but I love the attention to detail otherwise. Also, Caesar and Maurice have sign names!!!!!!!
