Leave Red (Recoverable) Health displayed in the lifebar

is there a way to implement this? Like in the Marvel vs. Capcom & now the Tatsunoko vs Cacpcom series, where a character's red health that is deducted from their overall HP remains displayed on the lifebar for the purposes of gradually recovering once their partner tags into the match.

The reason I ask is because I'm looking to try my hand at coding a Baroque Cancel feature that utilizes the red health

Only in a full game since you'd need to know the location of the lifebar and whatnot.  You could make a secondary bar or number display that kept track of that life though.
