This silliness again?... FFS...

If you want a new word for annoying people who agressively try to get what they want with no regards for manners or anything like that, try something different, like "poachers" or something.

He to took the name of an unavoidable Mugen character (showing how central he seems to want to be in this hobby) has spent way too much time and effort on the Mugen world, but don't villiffy the guy, he's just continuing something that going on in other people's hands when he arrived on the scene - dunno if sunboy was the first to treat Mugen as Serious Business, but I'm sure that the ones who followed him certainly left a mark on once-young Ash's attitude around these parts.

Interesting point made earlier on about dancing games - I'm sure people are more likely to let out some steam enjoying those than sitting down playing fighting games or posting about them online...

Meh, just try to enjoy the hobby as you can without actively annoying people... remember liking fighting games? Perhaps looking back to why they got your attention in the first place might help put things in perspective.

Sunboy + gohanssm2 for sending it massively mainstream. If they argued less on every forum in existence sunboy would probably have gone down as a decent but relatively forgettable creator. As it is, he achieved notoriority from gohans continuous rants.

So if KFM is today's Sunboy, that'd make DavidGee today's Gohan ? ???

No, his posts aren't long enough. Close though  ;P

The question here is does their argument spill all over the place or does one of them stop and ignore the other.

Place your bets people. And yes i think the argument as a whole is unnecessary. One of you is Christian and the other is an athiest, you're going to have a LOT of trouble imposing your views on each other. [/analogy]

The worst part are the trolls that would follow on any of their footsteps reproducing their arguments and trying to instill more confusion, I really , really hate the "ME TOO" attitude.

"OH , Gohan is such a dork!!! Have you seen his jacket?!?! AHAHAH RETARD!"
"PSH! Sunboy is an ass!!! Why shouldnt creators have their own fun?!"
"HEY I think that guy is acting pretty gohanesque! LOL! Am I cool and loved yet?..."
"hey lets scream at people over the internet so we can be more like sunboy?!"

Oh I was going to make the same point about virtual violence begetting "mean" behavior before Titiln did. Instead of agreeing, I used the opportunity for an inside joke (KFM actively promotes Mugen as a general purpose game engine, even on the Wikipedia article he owns... ::)).
Um... David (ha, you have the same name as me.)... I hate to be... I dunno, I might seem like a jerk when I say this.

But from my experience with you, what there has been, you are part of the archetype that continues the aforementioned cycle, and as you continue to do this, KFM will be the other end of the metronome, smacking it right back to the start.

I just felt this had to be pointed out.

((Also, I notice the 'ownership' thing is the exact same argument I've read on here and forums like it 100 times or more.))

archetype? aforementioned cycle? metronome?!? Dude, we talking about Creator and Leecher. Not Pokemon.

He's saying that the same discussions have been happening for years and it has always been going back and forth between those two or their respective "archetypes".

Sound true enough, but the problem is not whether they are good guys or bad guys. The problem is the behavior.

OK, just argue amongst yourselves from now on. I won't bother accurately explaining anything the way GohanSSM2 did. ::) Who will carry on the long tradition of reason in the Mugen scene?

Gohan never explained anything accurately. He rambled on until you forgot his point if you could actually stand to read his posts. Generally involved a conspiricy theory though.

And everyone still kept going after him to try to enter into mortal argument kombat instead of ignoring it.
That kind of behaviour out there in your actual lifes would get you thrown into an asylum fast as hell.

Sounds more like the name everyone's looking for, to me, is spoiled brat :P

Technically, I'm still a leecher, despite how long I've been around the community. I, as many people though, don't have the knowledge or time to get the knowledge to be able to help in ways that the contributors can.

Therefore, I give back what I can by being a mod in the request section. It's not the same, but I hope it helps somehow.

Having done that Orochi KFM I edited however gave me a greater appreciation for what the creators do, so I try my best to be accomodating when I can, even though by creation standards, I did the easiest possible thing, it was still time consuming as anything.

Dear Kung_Fu_Man,

You were right, the fighting actually started up again! Someone brought up sunboy and gohan and things started getting interesting. Wish you were here, give my regards to the family.

Lets try not carrying on any traditions including the one of 2 people trying to one up each other over different valid points of view that niether is ever going to agree with.
