qft...indeed...this discussion is never ending...there will always be leechers(most of the guys who request stuff...if not check the request section and see how many guy have more than 20 posts... --;)
mugen players(ppl who likes playing,as well as knowing how to play arround with the mugen stuff,and LOOKING for stuff by themselves=me...)
and then the official creator(ppl that make stages,characters,Sp,patches,AI...anything that is intended to be used in mugen)

It true that there are plenty of leecher that act like complete jerks.
But there are plenty of leecher that just take what they can get and what they can find.
Certain amount of Creator seem to bunch up all the Leecher and make it as if all Leecher is some sort of plague. Because of certain group of Leecher with bad behavior.


But these certain amount of Creator seem to forgot the term game mean.
Because the Creator work so hard on their character, they seek for recognition, and when thing don't go their way. They just make there stuff unrequestable.


A Game Creator's goal is not suppose to be about recognition or gaining respect, the goal is suppose to be about having fun, with good entertainment. It seem plenty of Creators in the Mugen community forgot that.

Even though these Creator will bitch, and whine about it, and disappear along with making their character making it unrequestable. Leecher and other Creator will still seek out their character and download without permission. You may think it would be disrespectful by doing so, but actually it the opposite. Because people would download the Creator's character even though it unrequestable, and it is not because the people doing it out of spite. The Leecher and other Creator would download it because that Creator's character have value and it fun to play with.

So every time you see a Leecher download a character. Remember the reason why they are downloading it in the first place.

I can understand "your" and "you're," but how do you screw up "common" and "comment?!" Also as I said before and will say again:

Creator: Makes stuff
Leecher: Doesn't make stuff

I think it would also help if said creators didn't help perpetuate that image. For example, I recall a while back that *someone* made a *certain video game* Artmoney table and posted it publically on *some site* but *another someone* pulled it from public existence shortly after it was posted, claiming that they had the intention of making a full game with all the characters and that it shouldn't have been public.

Exactly. Cept I tried to do all the things I saw Ash do.

Just a little test to see how hypocritical him and his buddies were/are. And to let him see how it felt.

Oddly enough when I did all that stuff it was a bad thing, but not Ash cause he was stroking egos when he did all those things. I actually couldn't stoop to some of the stuff he did and certainly could not make mugen my life like him. So he won :D

And I never did any of that stuff to the general public. Just towards Ash and a few like minded individuals.

Maniac Leecher. Manic Leecher. It still the same thing as a Leecher in Mugen. They just download stuff without making, or creating anything for the community.

I vote for "Obsessive Leecher" to define someone who does anything more than downloading that isn't creating (ie: hacking into sites to get characters)

I have a suggestion, how about we ignore this issue altogether?

Because quite obviously a solution will never be drawn. It doesn't matter who's on the righter side, or who gets called what. We're all equals in life, so tagged-on names and labels are useless.

Far as I'm concerned, neither side are spotless. You (both creator and other) need to realise that you all have your role to play if civility is to reign.

You can't stop the assholes in life coming in and causing shit. Complain by all means. Whine. Quit. You make your own choices based on your beliefs. Things will not change in your absence though. The only thing you've done is let the assholes win, and assholes are everywhere, no matter what other labels they may have.

You do know what being obsess is right? If there is an Obsessive Leecher, all he do is leech, care about leeching, and nothing else.  Not even playing Mugen. Which would be pretty stupid. I think you might wanna drop that word.
