How do we get images for our own added stages in the select screen instead of the black image that says "replace me" ?
Markpachi said, September 09, 2014, 07:40:44 amGreat release, NoZ. What's next on your to-do list?nothing,im on break lolInvictusok said, September 09, 2014, 10:47:53 amHow do we get images for our own added stages in the select screen instead of the black image that says "replace me" ?You have to make a portrait of said stage by taking a screenshot or some other method and using the template provided to make it,then you open the stage font in fighter factory 3 and replace one of the default images that say replace me,just change the image cause its already positioned,you use the stage map I provided that shows the value of each image in the sff,each image is a letter or symbol,write the letter or symbol that represents the image of your stage in the stage.def replace the display name for the letter or number,example Name = "A",ill make a tutorial soon that goes more into detail
I think you forgot to include the psd for the stage layout. How did you take screens of the stages? And could we put animated gifs in place of the "replace me" files?
This is beautiful, NoZ. The time and effort you spent making this was well worth the wait. Congratulations on your release.
Thanks for the response. How did you take the screens of the levels? I'm using Stageviewer but it's a huge hassle having to alt-prntscrn like 3 times per stage plus work them together in ps.
I usually add a lot of zoom to the stage,make both characters walk back at the same time,then when they are far enough I press f12 for mugen to take a screenshot
Okay I'll try that out. I have almost 200 stages and I want to know can I have all of them have stage select images?
Nope,you can only have a limited number,the amount of images inside the sff of the stage font should be an indication
Is there any ways to convert this screenpack to 1.0? 1.1 is not for me, because it's too laggy on my comp.
There is but would require indexing all those images and having to do further modifications due to the gradient colors. Another issue would be having to get rid of the glowing portraits.
1.0 is out of the question and you would have to be crazy to even try to convert this,not worth the effort,I still got the old 1.0 version over here,its just that they are incomplete,I might finish them in the future
I'm with Lilth and NoZ on the whole indexing thing; that would take a monstrous and mind melting amount of time. Who'd want to index like 1.0 anyhow?? While I respect your request, I ain't gonna index anything since it almost made me quit all together. True story. Indexing is pretty much a portrait maker's Kryptonite. We all buckle and gasp at the mere presence of it!!
Holy fuck I'm slow... I just noticed Sai is Mod now Don't know how long you've been a mod, but congrats bro ...Now you can read all the dirty sexy PMs I send Watta... ;_;

Nah, you're not slow. You've been away for a while. I was also quite surprised when JNP sent me that PM inviting me to the team. I love my position here simply because Guild takes up about 90% of my Internet time. The only other sites besides Guild that I visit are like IGN and GameSpot.I don't think we have the ability to view PMs... this I gotta look into. I'd also like to point out that Legacy here is by far Facebook's most popular post yet. NoZ brought in about 2,500+ views alone. That speaks volumes!!
