Recreation

Unlike the Kula clones, many of the Len clones don't even bother editing a good amount of the sprites.
She still retains the same face.

White Len arrange
Haku=Len
Hime Len
Alt

Several others that I have forgotten.
And this year alone!

I wonder if cloning Kula suddenly got out of fashion.

It was OK.
Her portraits are extremely messy, the small port having a butchered palette.
Damage is fairly high, like her QCF+C level 1 in red mode doing ~350 life.
Her level 3s actually heal her.
QCF+C in blue mode also causes a lot of lag.
Her dizzy sprites are missing completely.
A lot of moves are missing hitsounds and go way too fast (hell, A could be spammed as a powercharge).
She feels sluggish for being based on Len, and comboing feels a bit awkward.

She was updated since release, and I dunno how much of that got fixed.

Hime Len and White Len Arrange are from M3. He's made good characters IMO. I hate that Dark Force mode though. Fortunately both Len don't have this mode. Both Len have 2 modes. Hime Len has a Rachel mode (yeah, the Rachel from BB). White Len Arrange just changes her attacks, still using ice moves. Both have Winmugen and Mugen 1.0 versions.

I forgot that Alt existed, so I can't say a lot about this one. Was this Len able to shoot bullets? I remember she had some problems, but I didn't check her a lot, so I can't help here.

KaLen is a joke character. She could even throw E. Honda as a projectile. Yeah, really a joke character. Sumou power victory FTW.

Forgot about S-Len too. I can't give you any information about her, sorry.

Lenja is made by 3ha, possibly one of the best creators of funny combinations of characters (aka Zangeese or Zangyura). Recently released, so I don't think you need an explanation here. You probably can still find the thread in the first page of Releases section for Winmugen. Let's just say she uses moves from a certain character from SS.

Haku=Len is.... well, a mix between Len and Hakumen (apparently, the Hakumen for CS and not CT). It's a nice attempt to put Hakumen in MUGEN, I guess (at least the best I've seen so far). Recently released in Found Releases in Winmugen section.

Ren is an edit of the black Len, with fire moves and possibility to use cards to fight. Has a similar move like Joker too. It's really well done. I highly recommend it. There was an AI patch that made her really entertaining to fight too.

I wanted a Zangief cloning trend by 3ha and the such after seeing Zangyura and Zangeese.

Also, I saw no one complain about the Juli/Juni/Cammy cloning trend, done by 2 and some other guys, making the 12 dolls more or less badly (apart from one or two ones).

Actually, that's because Capcom had 12 dolls, one for each month, and Cammy. The only of the other 12 that Capcom used in any SF though were Juni and Juli.

Well, I found out about Len Chan by Nanashi_Chan, which came out in February, but this one is crap. It's just one sprite of Len riding a cake that launches pics and portraits with a ton of very easy 100%s and can only be harmed by specials and supers.

Most clones of Kula IIRC kept the same outfit, gloves and whatnot.
Imagine the stuff Male Len has to go through.

At least Kula's outfit didn't look extremely feminine allow a male clone.

Len appeared in the Visual Novel Kagetsu Tohya for the first time. It's sorta like Hollow Ataraxia this game. Here is where "Shiki Nanaya" appeared from the first time, and also used "Extreme death, Nanaya" to kill us. Kishima Kouma appeared there for the first time (well, it was the first time you could see how both look like).

White Len appeared in MB React for the first time. She was created by Aoko, using the remnants of Warakia. She's like the reflection in the mirror (aka complete opposite) of Len.

No thanks. I would rather just use Nanashi in this forum, but for some reason there's another guy with this name, so I had to stuck another thing with this name.

Sounds like Kamikaze and Kamekaze, two totally different authors with very similar names (the former is a Japanese Melty Blood creator)
