Not digging the blood either, unless she had a sword or something, it simple doesnt match with the character, but hey your the boss you decide what you like at the end, otherwise it looks great!
When I saw "Leona Heidern WIP" by Memo, i was expecting KoF XIII Leona in CvS form. But alas, that's not the case.Not complaining though! What you've shown us looks really great! Although blood loss is really overboard there, maybe you should keep it for her slashing moves, cuz in the last GIF, i saw a geyser of blood coming after a kick. But hey, do what you want. Your the coder anyways! Good luck!
Ok so blood or no blood? I know that attackdoesnt have blood in source but its a cutting attack.Her grab has blood, im not sure why her Moon Slashernever had blood.I could tone it down so its not a curtain of blood spilling out too.

Just keep it on the slash moves. Personally i dont have a problem with that since im used to seeing her and her father do bloody slash moves in past games anyway. But a pinch of blood FX on those kinds of moves doesnt hurt i guess. If not then i say go with those Hi res slash styles (non bloody) then thats seen in Kojirobadass Fumma and Hanzo Ninjas for example

Charge type doesn't fit Leona in my opinion, did she had charge commands in the any of the source material anyway?
