I'm am having trouble with my mugen portraits. The mini portraits next to the lifebar in some of my chars are distorted, yet their big portraits turn out fine. What's happening? Is it pallete incompatibility between the small portrait and the sprite? If it is, how do I make them compatible? What should I do?

Notice: I'm using the brokenMugen screenpack, and the lifebars use the big portraits for the small pictures next to the lifebar.
PLEASE HELP!

Notice that my big portrait of the selected char, Karin, is fine:

But when she is in action, her small portrait next to the life bar is messed up. Keep in mind that my lifebars use the big portraits for the small pics next to the lifebars:

Any help? I've been stuck with this for a while now :/ Thank you all for reading! :)

Did you use a custom palette? The icon is set to follow the original palette, and replacing the sprites distorts the colours. My characters do the same thing, it's really not a big deal.

Try inserting the large portrait at the end of the SFF of your character using fighter factory, without using shared palette, obviously.
Of course, replace the other occurence of this sprite in the SFF.
