....oh. akof. well i'll have to test it later but my expectations aren't that high. the same author made 'edit' not too long ago and i remember him being just okay

yes. about to make my release topics a mirror match in training stage at this point, holy bejeezus

anyhoo, this seems to primarily based around 2000-style lin aside from a few 2001 moves, which i like. i DON'T like that his standard super is now done with 2141236+X/Y (yeah i copy pasted can you tell) because in the original super command's place is some silly custom attack using his intro sprites. also his level 2 supers do like fucking RIDICULOUS damage compared to his level 1s. i can only imagine what his level 3 is but i can't get the move to, like, work at all

but speaking strictly of code, i guess it's alright? i mean it's better than crosscat's lin. i dunno. one character's gethits freaked out when hit by his standard QCFx/y move. there's still a need for a good lin conversion and it seems to me this is the best one out right now, sadly. that is if you can put up with the custom stuff. now i'm not one to trash a character just cuz it has the author feeling the need to be a bit more creative, but it just doesn't really work here very well...

People have been going offtopic in releases too much; it's not to much to ask to keep your posts about the character that is actually being released.

Better add some feedback:
blood is crazy misaligned, it jumps all over the place, which is a big problem for a character like Lin who has many slashing attacks
level 2/3 super sparks are a bit too over-the-top, the stuff besides the XI spark from Magaki? it's unneeded, IMO
the poison effect on his MAX2 seems to go on forever; I thought it only lasted a limited amount of time in 2002UM?
